About Sarah Daniels, MD
I love to partner with my patients to educate and coach them as they pursue living their healthiest lives. My passion as a primary care doctor is to work with you to create a personalized health plan that helps you as you work to achieve your wellness goals. I believe that everyone has their own path to improved health. Whether you aim to be able to hike on your next vacation, safely reduce the number of medications, or improve overall nutrition, I can support you in making informed decisions and achieving your goals.
I think that, as healthcare becomes more complicated and fragmented, it’s more important than ever to have a primary care doctor who can offer more personalized care and devote more time and attention to your specific health needs. As a board-certified internal medicine doctor, I have the training and experience to discuss complex issues and advances in healthcare during appointments that are unhurried. My smaller practice size means I can offer same-day or next-day appointments when new concerns arise and more time to read records, perform exams and formulate action plans with patients. I also have special interests in weight loss, women’s health and promoting strength and fitness.
My MDVIP-affiliated practice offers services, including comprehensive, advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests, that go far beyond those found in concierge medicine practices. I offer on-site lab, X-ray and bone density services as well. I have been in Austin, TX, for more than 15 years and have built relationships with specialists in Austin. I am affiliated with St. David’s Medical Center and Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin and was named one of the best internal medicine doctors in Austin in 2025.

Frequently Asked Questions
MDVIP-affiliated physicians use the Wellness Program Plus to help prevent little things from becoming big things – working to help patients enjoy life and be healthier. Those who value their health will appreciate having a closer doctor-patient relationship. Because MDVIP-affiliated physicians have smaller practices, they have more time for you, so you can receive the individualized care and service you deserve. Physicians offering the Plus program have a different set of testing to choose from than physicians in the traditional program; this testing looks at additional health risks. Plus doctors also use an advanced cognitive testing system to evaluate brain health and offer a medication review program.
MDVIP makes wellness and prevention easier by providing your physician with innovative tools and technology. MDVIP supports your physician’s practice and seeks to eliminate barriers to a positive healthcare experience. Your doctor will determine whether and how to incorporate these tools at his/her discretion.
Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.
