I was featured on Atlanta News First as part of their National Doctors’ Day celebration. We discussed prevention, not just lowering your risk of chronic diseases, but also preparing for seasonal risks to get ahead of illness, disease and catastrophe. For example, during the spring, there are more injuries, e.g., senior homeowners falling off roofs while cleaning gutters. Weight loss health issues also rise as people get ready for swimsuit season. My suggestion is to know your family and personal health history and partner with your doctor to help you get ahead of your risks and to accomplish your health goals. About the Physician
Jada Moore-Ruffin, MD, FAAFP

Health is personal—and your care should be, too. As a physician, I believe personalized medicine requires time, trust and a relationship built on listening. In a world where doctor’s appointments often feel rushed and not available in a timely fashion, I have chosen a different path. Through the MDVIP model, my patients can enjoy convenient same- or next-day visits, the ability to contact me directly, and care that is proactive—not merely reactive.

My approach blends clinical experience with a holistic focus on the whole person—mind, body, spirit and lifestyle. I integrate evidence-based medicine with personalized wellness strategies to help you as you work to look, feel and live better. Whether you are a busy professional, a frequent traveler, or simply tired of being “shuffled around” and “doctor hopping,” my goal is to be your lifelong wellness partner. I provide care in a calm, professional environment designed for meaningful connection and personalized attention.

I am a board-certified family and obesity medicine physician and a specialist in other health areas with nearly three decades of experience helping patients as they pursue reclaiming energy, confidence and balance. Beyond my practice, I am a wife, mother and entrepreneur who understands firsthand the challenge of juggling achievement with self-care. I live what I teach, prioritizing movement, mindful nutrition and time outdoors with my family. These experiences shape how I practice medicine—with empathy, authenticity and a deep respect for the whole person sitting in front of me.

My MDVIP-affiliated practice offers services, including comprehensive, advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests, that go far beyond those found in concierge medicine practices. Located in Atlanta, Georgia, I serve patients throughout the greater Atlanta area— including Sandy Springs, Buckhead, Dunwoody and surrounding communities well beyond the Perimeter, even out of state. My professional network includes specialists to whom I can refer you, if needed.

Medicine, for me, is not only about illness—it is about helping you feel empowered to pursue well-being. Together, we can craft a plan that supports you as you work to perform at your best, year after year.
