My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

My objective has always been to focus on providing personal attention for my patient's individual healthcare and well-being. I have learned over the last 15 plus years that really listening to my patients gives me the opportunity to provide ideal care. Letting the patient speak is fast disappearing from medical practice that has become cluttered with institutions, systems, and rules that distract from patient care.

As an MDVIP-affiliated physician, I have the time and resources that allow me to formulate a wellness plan that will help you achieve your health goals. Whether you are dealing with acute or chronic conditions, we will carefully and proactively individualize your treatment providing clear explanation of your options.

In my practice, we create a stronger doctor-patient relationship which enhances your personalized medical care and allows you to achieve optimal health. We will compassionately partner together to maximize wellness and experience an improved quality of life. My interests include patient education, healthy nutrition and exercise, as well as risk assessments/treatments for diabetes, coronary disease and stroke prevention.

Dr. Spedale and Staff,
We love you and can't praise you enough for always going far beyond the standards and providing excellent health care. Always being there for support, directions, and encouragement. I would not want to imagine what these last eighteen months would have been like without your support. We love You,
The Barrons

I was seeing Dr. Spedale before he decided to work with MDVIP. I would like for him to know he is a very good doctor and has a personal touch to his practice. He has two associates in Kimberly and Hannah that show concern for his patients and are very helpful whether it is on a phone call or through email.
Thanks to all of you.

How do you thank the doctor that held my hand during my husband's final days and called regularly after hours to see how we were both doing. Although Dr. Spedale was not Jim's primary physician at the time due to Jim working out of state, once I brought Jim back home to Dothan following extensive chemo and radiation treatments , Roland Spedale stepped in and began treating Jim… See more

Dr. Spedale is always patient, kind and helpful. I always have the feeling that he honestly cares about the welfare of his patients. My daughter, the nurse, told her dad and me that we needed to become patients of his because she recognized his caring, patient attitude. She was right!

You accepted Charlotte as a new patient, when already at full capacity, because you care. You have made it possible for me to deal with her dying, because I trust your judgment with her care!
With each appointment you see HER, and she is aware of getting the best of care.
I vastly respect you as a doctor and wanted only you as her doctor, thank you for being you, for your level of… See more
