Over a year ago, long before the Corona Virus controlled our universe, I came back from a trip to South Africa with a "horrible bug:" fever, chills, lack of appetite etc. Dr. Cullen prescribed the lowest level of antibiotic that might due the trick. My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...
I was raised in a primary care household with an admiration for family medicine. I had a front row seat, as my father was a general practitioner in the DC area for 30 years. Practicing primary care with my brothers over the last 21 years has been the most rewarding part of my career; learning from some of the finest and giving patients optimal care. My MDVIP-affiliated practice focuses on the relationship between the physician and the patient. My approach is grounded in the belief that the doctor-patient connection is the foundation of all successful healthcare. Listening to the patient has always been the most important diagnostic test. I also offer conveniences, like same- or next-day appointments that start on time, which may be found in concierge medicine practices.
As a native Washingtonian, I have served the Northwest DC, Montgomery County, Maryland and Sibley Hospital communities my entire professional life. I am dedicated to preventive medicine and am uniquely qualified to serve this area because this is where, and how, I was raised.

for Collin D. Cullen, MD

In my half a century of stay in the USA, Dr. Collin Cullen is just the second internist, that I am seeing for my general preventive healthcare. I am a long-term diabetic (>20years), and I do need constant check-ups to keep me free of diabetes-related clinical complications, such as neuropathy, nephropathy, retinopathy, and vasculopathy. I started seeing Dr. Cullen when we moved from… See more
