Lisa C. Fishman, MD

Dr. Lisa Fishman, as well as her staff has always been attentive and caring. Urgent care and procedures are always timely if needed, and when I was too busy working, they never stopped reminding me to come in and have my wellness exam. I had been a patient of her's before she joined MDVIP and I remember going to one of the seminars she had to explain her reasons for leaving her old practice. I liked that she said she would be able to go from seeing 2,000 patients to 500, and able to spend more time with us, and have more time for research. Despite the cost of the program, I did not want to give Dr. Fishman up. Dr.F. got me through a bad case of Covid 2 times, the first being at the onset in March of 2020. I might not have recovered fully if not for her diligent check ins, care and follow up tests. I also appreciated her Zoom seminars during those initial Covid-19 months when we all had so many unanswered questions about this the virus and what the long term affects could be. Dr. F. is also up to date with current medical practices and care. And she has referred me to other excellent Drs. when needed for specialized issues. (A torn ACL for ex.). I could write a book on her compassion and her office staff is friendly and always helpful. I mean this sincerely. 

I came to Dr. Lisa Fishman after feeling a lack of care from three of my doctors. One was my internist of almost forty years, one was a pulmonologist, and one an endocrinologist. Friends of mine recommended her highly. From the minute I met Dr. Fishman, I experienced something completely different. She seemed to genuinely care about my issues, and working with me to find the best course of action to address them. She even asked if it would be okay to reach out to another of my doctors to learn more about me!
Words almost can't express how grateful I am to have her as my primary care doctor. Dr. Fishman listens, and really hears me. I truly feel safe in her hands.

Each year when I see Dr Fishman for my amnmual physical I am reminded ( not that I have to be). but it always hits home in a BIG way..that she is such a great doctor.
From the way she handles all my tests, and gathering medical history ( keeping it up to date) to check-ups, office visits, vaccines etc. she and her practice exceed my expectations always. At my annual visit, Dr Fishman goes over ALL of my test results and exams in such detail that she covers every aspect of my health...and always checks in with me on my specialists ( and I have many being a cancer survivor ) and their exams and tests.
She is a goddess..and I am so grateful to be in her practice and able to contact her easily when questions/ issues arise.

Dr. Fishman is the kind of physician who treats the whole patient. She connects the physical, emotional and lifestyle dots of one's health. In addition to prescribing medicine when necessary, she helps you to help yourself by explaining how your health is impacted by your lifestyle choices. She is smart, caring, compassionate and honest. I trust her completely as for the last 15 years, she has seen me through bad breakups, strep throat, UTIs, breast cancer, a hysterectomy and weight issues. I am not always the best patient, but she is the absolute best doctor, and I truly appreciate her.
