I recently saw Dr. Z for my annual physical. During the visit I began talking about the high level of anxiety I was experiencing and was worried about. I was not sleeping well, which is unusual for me. After a few questions, the doctor took a seat, and asked me to tell him what was going on in my life that might have precipitated the high level of anxiety?
Not only was I surprised that he actually sat down and wanted to listen to me, but I felt so at ease that as I began to tell him the story of what was happening in my life (a business negotiation gone awry), I began to cry. How embarrassing it was to be crying in the doctor's office!
But he was kind, patient, and most of all gave me some very practical advice. After I left his office, i called a friend to tell her how amazed I was that he took the time, and had the patience to listen and to genuinely consider my situation and offer advice that has helped me get through this difficult time. I GREATLY appreciated the fact that he understood that just spending a little extra time talking to me would make all the difference.

Our MDVIP doc, Mario Zacharatos has added tremendous value to our lives. As one would expect, he is extremely knowledgeable about all things medical, but the bonus is that he is warm, caring, always is able to find time to respond to texts, emails, refill scrips, help coordinate testing and appointments with specialists. I cannot imagine receiving better medical advice and healthcare. I wholeheartedly recommend Mario's MDVIP practice to anyone who asks for a reference or is thinking about a new primary care physician. I arrived at my "wellness checkup" last year and checked in. I sat down in the waiting room and heard a voice from down the hall say, "hi Jeff, how are you?" Team member Liz Zacharatos appeared and gave me a hug and said it was great to see me. I have never had any member of a medical group give me a hug before. It was a very nice thing to do and I was moved.
As I enter the final years of my life it is nice to know that my medical needs are being addressed by people who really care.

Today I was very gratefully informed that Dr. Mario A. Zacharatos so very committed to providing his outstanding family care to patients on Cape Cod in Massachusetts that he is opening a new office here!! This remarkable demonstration of his pride in his practice and his intention to remain in this area for the long run is outstanding! It indicates his extremely high professionalism in attracting and retaining new patients while keeping within his capacity to serve everyone of us with the best possible level of care with his immediate response to any and every call.
