I feel free to express my emotions. Dr. MacMillin it’s being a good listener and always try to give the correct answers. I feel much better after I share with him all my concerns. I am taking care of my husband that is being diagnosed with dementia and sometimes I fell overwhelmed, but always remember Dr. MacMillin’s advice “One thing at a time”. I feel fortunate to have a physician who cares in my life.

Certainly the best doctor I have ever seen, even after 12 years now he remains the only person I would trust with my healthcare.

Something my family values when choosing a doctor's office, is that we can build a relationship with the doctor and staff, instead of being the next number in line. Dr. McMillin has been our family doctor for over 16 years. He's been our kids' doctor since they were born, and takes time to get to know them as they grow. His staff knows who we are when we call, and are friendly and caring. He listens to our health concerns, and takes interest in our well being. Our only hope is that he will continue with his practice for a long time. When the day comes that he retires, and we have to find another doctor, it will be impossible to replace him.

Doc McMillin always makes time to thoroughly evaluate whatever the medical issue is and talks through all the treatment options and helps me to make the correct decision based on my personal preferences. When he is out of office and I need something he ensures that he or someone from his office communicates directly with me in a very timely manner and followups up to make sure that I received appropriate care or answer to issue. He truly gets to know his patients and offers multiple options for engaging with his patients outside of the office to enhance their health and well-being. When you visit his office it feels comfortable and like you are speaking with family, his staff are always friendly and professional. His philosophy regarding life, longevity and compassion are spot on and provides a level of healthcare that are unmatched.

Highly unprofessional staff. A doctor that is the epitome of "get them sicker so I get richer" MDVIP marketing is all a lie. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Dr. McMillan is the best dr I’ve ever had and the staff are also the very best. I feel like I’m treated like a king on every visit. By every person in the office. I cannot say enough good things about each and every single one of them.

Dr. Mc Millin has been a great doctor over the years he’s been in charge of my care. He has overseen care that has improved my health and I believe has prolonged my life. I have had lung problems, liver disease , and diabetes. I have been able to reach a point where everything is functioning normal which has been a real problem for other doctors I’ve had to achieve. He has made sure I have had exelent specialists work with me on these issues, and made himself and staff available to me 24/7 in case of an emergency. He is the best doctor for patients with multiple health issues.
One of the most important things to me is he and his staff take the time to make sure I understand everything and feel comfortable with my health care at all times. I cannot think of any other doctor who could or would commit themselves to a patients wellbeing as Dr. McMillin has.

I started with Dr McMillan 6 months ago and am so happy with him. He is thorough and kind and patient with my questions and really seems to care. I accidentally called him on his HOME line when I meant to call the office and he could not have been nicer and said call if you need me. NO dr I know does that. I am disabled and on very limited income and would not be paying this much if he was not worth it. I save to come to him because my health is worth it. I would recommend him to anyone I know. Never met a Dr like him. Great bedside manner. I feel confident he will get my health better and I have many health issues. That is why I pay the cost of the program. He is worth it! ❤️

Dr Matthew McMillin is an EXCELLENT, EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE, VERY NICE, & EXTREMELY ACCESSIBLE PHYSICIAN!! As a member of the Medical Community myself with an MS in Env Health [Occupational Health] from the Univ of Cincinnati, College of Medicine, I can definitely say that in my opinion he is extremely knowledgeable on a vast array of medical subjects and “up-to-date” on the latest drugs/treatments! Excellent BEDSIDE MANNER! Spends more than adequate time with you! Runs office “ ON TIME”. Very nice & well equipped office, and beautiful waiting room! Excellent nursing & office staff! Plenty of free parking always available just feet from his office front door on ground level! I have ALWAYS had excellent Board Certified Physicians my entire 69 years — but Dr McMillin is BEST PHYSICIAN I HAVE EVER HAD!! BY FAR FAR FAR, THE MOST COMPREHENSIVE ANNUAL MEDICAL EXAMS I HAVE EVER HAD!! It appears he uses SOME OF THE SAME PROTOCOLS AS “THE CLEVELAND CLINIC”!! I am Not currently familiar with, but his annual medical exams are MUCH MORE COMPREHENSIVE THAN EXECUTIVES RECEIVED 20+ YEARS AGO at a local corporation!!! DR MCMILLIN IS READILY ACCESSIBLE WITHIN ABOUT 10 MINUTES VIA TEXT/ PHONE 365/7/24!!!!!!!!

After listening to friends and family constantly complaining about their doctors and the difficulties they have just getting an appointment or just a return phone call, I am so thankful for the top notch care I receive from Dr. Matt. Believe me he is there when I need him and always personally returns my texts or calls within a matter of minutes. In these times of healthcare when one doesn’t even know if they are seeing their Doctor or an assistant, I know I can always rely on Dr. McMillin to be there for me! Dr. McMillin is the best!

This doctor deserves every one of those five stars. Peoria is lucky to have a doc who's not only world class in his brilliance and expertise, but also a fantastic communicator and a compassionate Mensch. More power to Matt and his terrific staff.

If you are desiring a physician who supports the practice of preventative health, Dr. Matthew McMillin may be the person you are looking for. He listens, he provides, he encourages, and he's honest. At know point do you feel judged or belittled. But he will tell you the issues and then create a plan to make you healthier. I am extremely satisfied with his services over the past 4 years.

I could continue to tell MDVIP how amazing Dr. McMillin (Peoria, IL) and his staff is. It seems like all people want to hear is that he goes above and beyond for his patients, and his staff is just as caring and dedicated to keeping you healthy as he is...and they are. Okay, so if you only want to know if he is an amazing doctor that has a staff dedicated to putting you first and being sure you are and will live a long happy life they are 100% the office you want to be in. To me that seems too easy and maybe a little generic. If you are a sports fan keep reading because this is the best way I see fit to describe them. If you take 7+15+9=31 I would give them 31/31...get it yet? Maybe this is easier. 23+32+33=88 and I once again I give them 88/88. Give up? Well if you are an NBA fan you are well aware of the numbers of 3 of the greatest players to ever play the game, and the ones who coined the name of the 1992 USA Olympic Basketball Team commonly known as the "Dream Team". Dr. Matt McMillin which you are probably expecting me to say is the Jordan of the team is actually the one making the "magic" happen. With concise and direct questions he makes you feel at ease when telling him exactly what is going on and him responding with what can be done to help you get back in the game. Like Magic Johnson's tricks you had to rewind and watch 5x to understand how he just made that play well Dr.McMillin doesn't leave until you grasp why he is asking you do what he is asking you to do. At times even grabbing a piece of paper and breaking it down. When was the last time you left the doctors office feeling like some magic just made you a million times better?The greatest RN ever, Olivia, is who I would deem the legendary Larry Bird on his best day. She makes 3 point shots ending the day like he ended games. While other offices put you off for days, oh not with Olivia in the game. You have a problem that needs taken care of she is staying and working on it until it is done. I would say her patients are her fans but actually we are her family. Who is Michael Jordan? That would be Ms Dawn. If you went to a Bulls game back in the day and Jordan wasn't playing how disappointed would you be? That is how it is when Dawn takes a vacation. She gets the ball moving just like the great #23 did. If you need help when she picks up that phone it's a slam dunk! You know you can relax because she is bringing the ball down the court sometimes all alone and with the demanding assists of whomever she is scoring her patients answers. There you go...so yes do they respect and care about their patients...100%. However, I'm going to stay with 31/31 because Dr. McMillin and his staff is my "Dream Team"!

Dr. McMillin has extensive knowledge and utilizes this knowledge to assist his patients. He is also realistic and kind when suggesting alternatives and approaches to different health care issues. I highly recommend him.
