My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

Treating the person and not a disease while emphasizing the importance of nutrition, exercise and mental health has been my objective when caring for patients. As your personal primary care physician, I have the time to help you accomplish your health goals via collaboration, compassion and understanding. I want to be involved in all facets of your care and learn more about you. My MDVIP-affiliated practice, is designed to help make that possible.

After more than 20 years serving the El Paso area, I am continuously reminded that it is a privilege to be a physician. I have l privileges at The Hospitals of Providence Sierra and Memorial campuses. And I am fluent in English and Spanish.

I'm a tyoe 2 diabetic, and had been under the care of other doctors prior to becoming Dr. Peralta's patient. I always felt that I never received the care I should have received until I became his patient. Other doctors I saw felt like I was part of a patient mill. With Dr. Peralta I am afforded the kind of care all patients want, thorough, caring and personalized.

I am always bragging to my friends that I have the smartest and most caring md in El Paso. A couple of years ago I suffered a mini-stroke and he advised my wife to take me to the emergency loction at the hospital and shortlly there after went to see me. When my wife told dr Peralta she did not like what I was being fed he asked the hospital to send me home and set up- the therapy sessions at… See more

When I was first diagnosed with diabetes, I went to an endocrinologist who was new to a firm that had been around for a while already! I ended up also getting diagnosed with thyroid issues. For 21 years I was not able to control my A1C and blood sugars. My doctor kept prescribing more and more insulins and not finding the problem. My husband encouraged me to change doctors and in 2022, I… See more

I can always count on him to be there when I need him. Not many doctors make house calls anymore but Dr. Peralta did on his motorcycle. When my husband, Gail, passed away on January 24, 2018. It meant so much to me and my children. He was able to meet all my children, they were very impressed with Dr. Peralta. His compassion and care is amazing. I had Covid last year and he did everything he… See more

Max is not just my doctor, but he is a great friend as well. I smoked for 50 years (not proud of that), and my doctor, Max was able to convince me to and and help me quit. I am 82 now, and I was 65 when I quit. If it weren't for Max, I probably would not be here today. He was not pushy, but he was persistent and consistent in his reasoning. I am pretty healthy for a guy my age, and I… See more
