Since joining the MDVIP practice of Dr. Spencer Phillips, I must admit to feeling like a member of his family. He is very accommodating and very thorough and takes pride in knowing his patients and treating his patients as he would a member of his own family. I have never had to wait for an appointment and once arriving for my appointment, am greeted by the staff in a friendly and caring… See more

I have a special interest in preventive medicine and personalized healthcare. I feel that prevention is the key to continual well-being. Our wellness program/executive physical has been ranked in the top 10 nationally. I have been privileged and humbled to be named the top family physician by Lancaster County Magazine nine times.

Testimonials from patients of Dr. Phillips
Dear Dr. Phillips, We are quite recent patients of yours, but we want you to know how much we appreciate knowing you are there for us 24/7. Thank you so much for working diligently to find help for Gerry's problem. We could not be happier about our health care.
Five of course. I have been a patient of Dr. Phillips for a very short period of time. I am sure he has his patients well being at heart. I am looking forward to our next meeting.
I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH MY FIRST MEETING WITH DR. PHILLIPS AND HIS OFFICE STAFF. IN THE FOLLOW UP APPOINTMENT HE WAS VERY THOROUGH IN GOING OVER MY TESTING RESULTS. HE EXPLAINED THE RESULTS IN TERMINOLOGY THAT I WAS ABLE TO COMPREHEND AND ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS. I THINK I MADE AN EXCELLENT CHOICE IN CHOOOSING DR.PHILLIPS AS MY MDVIP PHYSICIAN.
We appreciate the time and attention Dr. Phillips provides. We also appreciate the services his office provides in arranging appointments.
Dr. Phillips was there for me when I was admitted into the hospital and was instrumental in securing me a room on a very busy night. He and his staff were there for me when I had prescription refill issues over a weekend. I did not have to wait until Monday to get this done.
Dr. Phillips annual physical examination was comprehensive; he provided me with a detailed explanation that was understandable. Whenever I needed him, he was available.
Two experiences in my short health journey with Dr. Phillips:
on a trip to Florida, I slipped iand fell out of the Marriott Courtyard bathtub while showering landing on my back and slamming my head on the tile floor. I was hospitalized and informed that stitches were not possible because of swelling. Upon returning home to Lancaster, PA, I had an appointment with Doctor Phillips for… See more
I am writing to apprise you of an outstanding and wonderful service that Dr. Phillips provided to my family. My 100 year old mother in law, who lives out of town, was staying with us while recovering from an illness. She had a band aid that remained after an IV that was causing discomfort and skin discoloration on her arm. I was concerned that removing it would cause her skin to be lifted… See more
Two years ago I went to see Spencer Phillips for a self-diagnosed appendicitis. After he confirmed my ailment, he spoke with my insurance to get admission authorization and then drove me to the hospital to check me in. How many doctors would do that. Yea - I think he is the best.
