I have had the pleasure and honor of practicing general internal medicine at Atlanta’s Piedmont Hospital for over twenty years. I am transitioning into personalized medical care to provide my patients with a high level of disease management and prevention. Together, our teamwork will cultivate an effective and therapeutic relationship to advance my patients’ wellness.

I have been affiliated with Dr. Adrian Douglass for more than 20 years, initially as my personal physician and now as the physician for my father. I greatly appreciate the medical/healthcare partnership which includes taking into consideration social and emotional concerns along with his physical wellness. There are discussions regarding medications, tests, referrals and best home care.

Dr Douglass is an amazing doctor who genuinely cares about the health and wellbeing of his patients. He takes the time to “see” and “hear” you. It doesn’t matter how long his day has been, he can be counted on to follow up. He always welcomes feedback on how he and his staff can enhance their service and care for patients. I joined Dr. Douglass’s practice during the pandemic when I could not get an appointment with my regular doctor. I have not been disappointed with the care I have received since. He is calm, professional, friendly and compassionate. I can always reach him for health concerns, refills etc. Exams are thorough and you do not feel rushed.
His staff is also friendly and professional. When I go to other healthcare providers they always speak highly of him! I have referred others including family members.

Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.

MDVIP supports your physician’s practice and seeks to eliminate barriers to a positive healthcare experience.
