About Adrian Sheremeta, MD
I have developed a private primary care practice in Southeast Michigan to provide more personalized care in a warm, welcoming and unhurried atmosphere. With more than 40 years of experience, I have helped patients navigate their health and wellness journeys. I have accompanied and advised patients through chronic and intermittent illnesses. I believe there is more to treating an illness than just ordering tests and providing a diagnosis.
I like to focus on preventive healthcare for all ages. For patients who are elderly or who have chronic illness, the emphasis is on working to improve quality of life. For younger or middle-aged patients, prevention is key. I believe that lifestyle, diet and exercise are vital for everyone whose goal is to stay as well as possible.
My MDVIP-affiliated practice allows me to practice medicine the way I always wanted: as a primary care doctor who cares and listens in a non-rushed way and one who understands that my patients’ time is also very valuable. Same-day or next-day appointments are available with minimal waits, and I can be reached during and after office hours for more urgent needs. I also offer the annual MDVIP Wellness Program. Thanks to the time and resources afforded by the MDVIP model, you and I can partner to make more proactive plans tailored to your physical and emotional well-being.
My internal medicine practice serves patients in western Wayne County, western Oakland County and surrounding areas. I hope to participate in your healthcare.

Frequently Asked Questions
Doctors who operate in the MDVIP models typically see far fewer patients than traditional primary care doctors. That gives them more time to develop deeper doctor-patient relationships that can lead to better outcomes. They can also offer conveniences that most primary care doctors can’t, including same- and next-day appointments. They’re available after hours for urgent matters. And they have time to focus on prevention. That focus begins with the MDVIP Wellness Program, which patients pay for with their annual membership fee.
Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.
MDVIP makes wellness and prevention easier by providing your physician with innovative tools and technology. MDVIP supports your physician’s practice and seeks to eliminate barriers to a positive healthcare experience. Your doctor will determine whether and how to incorporate these tools at his/her discretion.
