Albert Weisbrot, MD, FAAFP

My husband was going over a physical with Dr. Weisbrot 5 years ago. Everything looked good, but in hearing my husband say he was more tired when walking the golf course, he sent him for a stress test. Dr. Weisbrot is very interested in heart health. My husband failed the stress test, and went right to Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, to find out he needed a double bypass! If no intervention was made, the symptoms were not that obvious he was headed for a heart attack soon!

After that, I became a patient of Dr. Weisbrot's as well! He listens, and cares about each patient. You always feel good, no matter what, when you leave his office. Very glad we both are under the care of this amazing physician!!!

Albert and I go waaaaay back, about 45 years now, I believe. He’s what we call a “mensch,” a real person, a very good person, and a genuine caregiver who cares about his patients. His office staff is also second to none. His R.N., Susan and I, frequently banter and kid around. The fact that she laughs at my lame jokes and puts us w me is a testament to her patience and good sense of humor. I’ve also know his receptionist, Shawna, and her twin sister, Sarah, who works for a different physician, since they were “kids”:right out of H.S. She,too, is a great asset to the practice and always most helpful and responsive.
Albert’s community involvement, both Jewish and general, help set him apart. He usually volunteers to act as a cantor for underserved congregations during the Jewish High Holidays and has been asked for years to sing our National Anthem on “Dr. Albert Weisbrot Day” by the Cincinnati Reds.
So his is a very special practice made up of very special people. I think his common sense, unassuming, down-to-earth communication style along w the above attributes and qualities are what help set him apart and why, after 45 years, I am always comfortable talking w him about anything related to my health.

Back to the local doc who knows you. Back to the doctor who loves his practice. Back to the doctor who remembers why he got into medicine in the first place. Back to the doctor who satisfies patients not a corporation!

in 1991 my then doctor was retiring.Ifound a new doctor,Albert Weisbrot. The first thing he did was to order an Angiogram. The result showed blockage in three heart arteries. Triple by-pass surgery was performed with excellent results. I am 86 years old. Dr. Weisbrot's skilled doctoring, in my opinion has kept me alive for the last 31 years!
