About Amy Eeman Ghaibeh, MD
Having grown up in a small Colorado town, I understand the value of personal connections. My father was one of the town physicians, and I grew up watching him enjoy bumping into his patients at the grocery store or at school events. I, too, thoroughly enjoy getting to know my patients on a personal level, which I believe makes all the difference in primary care. I have a compassionate, warm bedside manner and treat my patients as if they are members of my family.
I see patients from all age groups, and I have a special interest in helping geriatric populations and their families. I try not to over prescribe medications.
With nearly 23 years of practicing medicine as a board certified internist in the Denver Metro community, I have developed relationships with many specialists, and I have time to speak with them as needed. I also have experience teaching students.
I try to practice what I preach and enjoy keeping active with hiking, yoga and swimming. I also love spending time with my family.

I happily recommend Dr. Amy Eeman Ghaibeh as a primary care physician, particularly for older patients. My husband and I were her patients for several years during our late 60s and early 70s until she relocated her practice. Her medical expertise is solid, current, and she isn’t careless about dispensing. Knowing that geriatric bodies process medications less efficiently, I appreciated Dr. Amy’s caution in prescribing and her reliably laying out options. I was comfortable with her clear, kind way of presenting information, taking precious time to form connection, listen carefully, and enlist the power of each person to support and maintain one’s own health. Dr. Amy helped us navigate the initial COVID outbreak, joint replacement, flu cycles and heart complications. She was gracious enough to laugh at my husband’s bad jokes and engage my earnest inquiries throughout. Both my husband and I remember her fondly and recommend her highly if she’s now practicing her medical arts in your vicinity.

Dr. Amy is fantastic! I had a health scare back in September that my PCP at the time wasn't taking seriously. Dr. Amy fit me into her schedule immediately and ordered further testing and scans. She referred me to the appropriate specialists that met my needs and checked in on me afterwards. Dr. Amy is very calm and very caring. During the Covid scare, when we did not know what to expect, she was very reassuring, listened carefully as I described my symptoms, and explained exactly what I needed to do if they got worse. What I want most in a doctor is someone who listens carefully to my concerns and asks good questions. Since that Covid scare, she has continued to be that person for me. I saw Dr. Amy a few weeks ago and where she performed a minor surgery. I was nervous about the needles and cutting. She was very reassuring and comforting and explained what would happen and set my mind at ease. She kept me apprized of what has going on while it was happening, which I found calming. She followed up with a couple calls and a visit to make sure I was healing well. Excellent doc, I recommend her.

Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.
