Andrew Blumenthal, DO

As a primary care physician for over 20 years, I have developed a style of practice based on listening, empathy and communication. My philosophy has always to be able to treat each individual, no matter their walk of life, with the same respect and dignity that each of us would want. Each patient has their own medical and emotional needs, and I have taken great pride in my ability to be there for my patients in whatever regard they need. To have strong relationships with my patients, to be able to know them as people and to help them better reach their health and wellness goals has been a cornerstone of my practice.

As much as diagnosing and treating a patient is important, educating is equally, if not more important. Medicine can be scary and intimidating for patients. Having a patient leave the office with a better understanding of their condition, their treatment and their goals is vital, I believe. The ability to better know patients as more than just charts is, in my opinion, crucial in their care. My more personalized approach to helping manage their issues helps my patients to leave their visits feeling as if they have been listened to and have been given appropriate medical advice to follow.

Being affiliated with MDVIP allows me more time to spend with patients and not to rush them in and out, the way traditional practices often do. The annual MDVIP Wellness Program allows me the ability to take a more comprehensive look at a patient’s overall health and to better formulate a program designed specifically for them. I have always taken great pride in my practice’s ability to go that extra length for patients and to help them navigate the complexities of our ever-changing healthcare system. Being an MDVIP-affiliated practice makes that task easier, as we have more time to do so and to help find specialists to assist in a patient’s care, if needed.

My practice serves Camden, Burlington and Gloucester counties. I have patients from Cherry Hill, Voorhees, Marlton, Medford, Runnemede and surrounding communities and from neighboring states.
