About Andrew Romano, DO

I am an internal medicine physician who has practiced in South Jersey for almost 20 years. Our small, patient-centered office fosters a welcoming atmosphere and trustworthy relationships.

Being an MDVIP-affiliated physician allows me more time to get to know each of my patients, providing a greater proactive approach as patients work to reduce risks for illness. My practice offers services including comprehensive, advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests, that go far beyond those found in concierge medicine practices. It is my opinion that the benefits of a preemptive approach to healthcare can be life changing.

My goal when I partnered with MDVIP was to bring the focus of medicine back to the patient. For that reason, we book one-hour minimum appointments and offer continuous reachability, even when the office is closed. In an effort to prioritize you and your time, we strive to maintain a punctual environment.

We would be very excited to have you as a member of our practice as you pursue your future health goals.

What our members are saying

After moving to South Jersey two things that were the hardest for me to find were a good Barber and a good Doctor. I am still searching for the Barber, as far as the Doctor the search is over. After going through several Doctors and not getting the proper care I was looking for ,I was fortunate to find Dr. Andrew Romano. He is not like other Doctors who keep their face buried in their lap top…

I have been with the Atlanticare healthcare sytem. The doctors there do not care about their patients. It's a system that you get lost in and can never get in touch with your doctor. The office staff are nasty. I finally found Dr. Romano with MDVIP
He is fantastic along with his staff. You actually get to speak to a friendly staff the realy cares. You are not a number

Thank God for Dr. ROMANO and his staff. I don’t think I’d be around now to write this post if it wasn’t for them.

My doctor had retired and recommended most of his patients to a local doctor in my area. However he recommended that I and some other of his patients travel to see Dr. Romano (I have some special needs) even though I would not be able to recieve home visits when I can't get out of bed or I am unable to leave the house. I am so glad I took this route. He is an excellent doctor, who is also thorough. He has compassion and does not get all bent out of shape if you need to talk to him during off hours. I was a practicing nurse for over 25 years, a floor nurse and then I was director of a sub-acute unit for 3 yrs. And Director of a Ventilator Unit for almost 2 years before becoming ill. So, to the person that said Dr. Romano is ARRAGANT, I worked with enough doctors to know ARRAGANCE when I see it. Dr. Romano is compassionate and thorough. I've also been around enough patients and family members to recognize when someone is blaming a doctors non-existent ARROGANCE when they don't get the answers that they expected. So yes, I wish I didn't have to travel so far to see him, but I'd rather travel to see a good doctor, then stay close to home and have a so-so doctor. My health is important to me.

Dr. Romano and his staff are very caring and attentive to all my health care needs. Anytime I call the office, a staff member or Dr Romano will answer the call. The office is very efficient, they always follow up to make sure my needs have been met. The nursing staff is very knowledgeable and administer testing in a professional manner. Dr Romano is an excellent doctor. He is a good listener. He is very resourceful and will thoroughly research and perform testing, if necessary, to obtain a high confidence level in his diagnosis. I recommend Dr Romano and his staff to anyone looking for quality healthcare management.

This doctor is a scam artist. You have to pay an annual fee of $1,900 just to be able to see him hahahaha. Yeah ok. So if I need to go once that year it costs me $1,900. No, I don’t think so pal. Nice try.

He’s a good doctor. Left him when he changed his practice to a subscription program and charged an annual fee. Didn’t see him enough for it to be worth my while.

Frequently Asked Questions

Doctors who operate in the MDVIP models typically see far fewer patients than traditional primary care doctors. That gives them more time to develop deeper doctor-patient relationships that can lead to better outcomes. They can also offer conveniences that most primary care doctors can’t, including same- and next-day appointments. They’re available after hours for urgent matters. And they have time to focus on prevention. That focus begins with the MDVIP Wellness Program, which patients pay for with their annual membership fee.

Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.

MDVIP makes wellness and prevention easier by providing your physician with innovative tools and technology. MDVIP supports your physician’s practice and seeks to eliminate barriers to a positive healthcare experience. Your doctor will determine whether and how to incorporate these tools at his/her discretion.
