About Antony J. Daros, DO
I began my family practice journey over two decades ago. I joined my father’s practice in Grand Blanc, Michigan, and I am proud to continue serving our community and the surrounding communities of Fenton, Flint, Beecher, Lapeer, Waterford and Auburn Hills. As an osteopathic physician, my passion and aim are to help better address disease and review my patients’ health concerns in a holistic manner.
I think that over the years, medicine has drastically changed, and these changes have made it more challenging to help patients with the fidelity in which I was trained and believe. And with the typical time constraints of most busy, traditional practices, I found myself working with patients who had difficult disease processes after they had already set in rather than prioritizing prevention. My MDVIP affiliation has been a blessing to better fulfill my goals as a physician. I can develop individual health plans with patients to help better address disease where possible. And my MDVIP-affiliated practice offers services, including comprehensive, advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests, that go far beyond those found in concierge medicine practices.
I believe that healthcare is a partnership between the patient and the physician. And as a personal physician, I now have more time to get to know my patients better, medically and personally. My patients appreciate that I offer same-day or next-day appointments. And I’m reachable after hours and on weekends for more urgent matters.
I am board-certified in family medicine and have experience in diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, osteopathic manipulation and preventive medicine. Additionally, I have spent many years working in urgent care, which trained me to help identify acute situations. I also have training in hormone health, thyroid conditions and polycystic ovarian disease. My staff and I look forward to working with you as part of our extended family.

Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.
