About Asadulla Mohammed, MD
My goals of entering the medical field were to use my passion to help patients, provide personalized care, be available to them when they need help, and spend more time with them without rushing them. My experience with traditional medicine over the 20 years has shown me that, unfortunately, it has veered toward volume-based medical practices, where, in order to survive, we physicians have to see certain number of patients each day. I found that in the traditional model, I didn’t get to spend as much time with patients as I wanted. That is why I affiliated with MDVIP.
In my MDVIP-affiliated practice, I can spend more time with my patients without rushing. I practice preventive medical care instead of solely reactionary medicine. During unhurried visits, my patients and I spend time discussing concerns big and small, and I can share with them my own personal health journey and what I do to help keep myself well. I want to share the findings from medical literature and anecdotes that may help my patients as they pursue achieving their health care goals.
Unlike volume-based practices, mine allows for a smaller patient panel, so I can offer conveniences, including same- or next-day appointments, minimal waiting for appointments, and the ability for patients to contact me during and after hours, because I know everyone’s time is valuable. My practice offers services, including comprehensive, advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests, that go far beyond those found in concierge medicine practices.
My areas of interest include, men’s health, sleep medicine, nutrition, weight loss and preventive medical care. My practice is located in Berkley, Michigan, and I serve Wayne, Oakland and Macomb Counties.
I speak and write English and also the Indian languages of Hindi, Urdu and Kannada since my parents are from India and I was born there before moving to the United States.
I am affiliated with two big health systems in the area: Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital in Royal Oak and Henry Ford Providence Southfield Hospital, with the added privilege of being able to admit my patients directly if needed. I am proud that I can serve as my patients’ outpatient and inpatient physician, which is rare today. It means I can not only care for you but advocate for your care with the team should you be hospitalized. I also make myself available on a case by case basis for house calls when absolutely clinically needed.
I invite you to join me in this model of personalized care, as I believe it can benefit you as you work to improve your health and length and quality of life, helping you enjoy your time in this world with your loved ones because we all are here in this beautiful world only once.

Frequently Asked Questions
Doctors who operate in the MDVIP models typically see far fewer patients than traditional primary care doctors. That gives them more time to develop deeper doctor-patient relationships that can lead to better outcomes. They can also offer conveniences that most primary care doctors can’t, including same- and next-day appointments. They’re available after hours for urgent matters. And they have time to focus on prevention. That focus begins with the MDVIP Wellness Program, which patients pay for with their annual membership fee.
Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.
MDVIP makes wellness and prevention easier by providing your physician with innovative tools and technology. MDVIP supports your physician’s practice and seeks to eliminate barriers to a positive healthcare experience. Your doctor will determine whether and how to incorporate these tools at his/her discretion.
