About Benjamin Levron, MD
I believe practicing medicine involves forming a partnership between doctor and patient - a partnership rooted in mutual trust and respect. As an MDVIP-affiliated primary care physician, I have more time to build personal relationships with my patients, discuss their medical histories and perform exams. As your personal doctor, we can work together to develop a customized wellness plan that aligns with your health goals. My primary care practice focuses on you and how we can help you work toward making a healthier, happier future your reality.
As a board-certified family medicine physician, I provide care for individuals across all stages of life. I also have special interests in LGBTQ+ care, cardiovascular health, diabetes, hypertension and preventive medicine. My MDVIP-affiliated practice offers services, including comprehensive, advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests, that go far beyond those found in concierge medicine practices.
Originally from Thibodaux, Louisiana, I earned my undergraduate degree in biology from Nicholls State University and received my medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine. I returned to Louisiana to complete my residency training at Baton Rouge General’s Family Medicine Residency Program and have been honored to serve this community ever since.
I am affiliated with Baton Rouge General Physicians and am a proud member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Louisiana Academy of Family Physicians. My goal is to provide personalized, compassionate care and help serve as a trusted partner in your health journey.

Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.
