About Bradley Hunter, DO

My practice focuses on what I believe is the cornerstone of good health: prevention. At its simplest, we need to stay active, eat well and sleep well. My commitment to you is to clarify your goals, identify the roadblocks to achieving these goals and to partner with you to map out a plan of success. 

My family medicine practice of almost 20 years has provided me with a solid foundation for managing chronic issues as well as the acute. I also pride myself on the ability to manage those more complex issues which, unfortunately, can arise. Above all, I value and strive to provide an effective communication style with my patients to ensure that I understand their concerns and then help them to identify what is needed to move forward. In my partnership with MDVIP, I’ll be able to devote more time to your overall health and wellness. I’ll be your coach for this long journey we’re on, partnering with you in achieving your healthcare goals. 

My practice is located in Rockville, Maryland, adjacent to Shady Grove Adventist Hospital, where I have privileges. I look forward to seeing you in the practice.

Dr. Schlein ROCKS! Even before my first physical (at the meet & greet) when I mentioned some symptoms that were troubling me, he LISTENED! Dr. Schlein was my husband's doctor and is my doctor. My husband was going through major problems and Dr, Schlein had his interest AS WELL AS MINE at all times. He became family! Dr. Hunter and his wonderful staff go the extra mile to absolutely help you maintain your family's health. He is incredibly kind, compassionate and takes the time to listen to you in addition to explaining everything clearly and fully. You'll get an appointment and be seen quickly and get results promptly. However, nothing else about his practice is rushed nor "fast track." This is so refreshing, especially in light of today's typically "reductionist" and "check-off list" medical practices. It's like going to the doctor used to be with regard to care, communication, and bedside manner combined with the most up-to-date knowledge and techniques. I highly recommend Dr. Hunter!

Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.

MDVIP makes wellness and prevention easier by providing your physician with innovative tools and technology. MDVIP supports your physician’s practice and seeks to eliminate barriers to a positive healthcare experience.
