What’s different about MDVIP practices and traditional primary care practices?

How does insurance work in an MDVIP-affiliated practice?

Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.

MDVIP supports your physician’s practice and seeks to eliminate barriers to a positive healthcare experience. Dr Brandon Jensen in Henderson Nevada is awesome! Since day 1 he has been available to myself & my husband so responsive.

My primary care physician stands high above any that I have had in my life of moving around the country for my government job. I have never had to wait more than ten minutes to see Dr. Jenson. When I do, he is attentive, friendly, and seems interested in any conversation we have had. This Dr. Is a scam I called his office to establish prime care physician for me and my wife it turned out that we have to pay over $2000 each annually just to see his ugly face how the city and the health department license such crooked business but again this is Nevada they will grant license for anything for the right amount we are leaving the state for the pot heads and alcoholics

I've been experiencing bladder problems.
I went to Dr. Jensen & had a blood test & urinalysis.
I got the blood test results on-line but couldn't find the urinalysis results. On my next appointment the lab person said there was no order for the urinalysis so he threw my sample away.
I was still having symptoms so they took another sample. This time I could find the results on-line - it showed I had an ecoli infection. Two bad I didn't know weeks earlier!
I called the office (on a Friday morning - it said leave a message the office is closed today we will return your call on Monday)
I didn't want to wait until Monday, so I took the results to a nearby Urgent Care that I had been to before. I got in right away.
The doctor looked at my lab results - gave me a thorough exam, checking my breathing etc. He then sent a Rx to CVS which was suggested on the Lab Corp report. I was happy to be finally fighting my infection.
I felt great in time for the 40 guest memorial that I planned for my husband last Saturday.
