My wife and I were very fortunate to find Dr. Berger in 1992 when we moved back to the Bethesda,MD area from Florida . We also count ourselves lucky to have been able to follow him to the MDVIP practice, since we value him so much, as our Primary Care Physician. Dr. Berger is a very compassionate, intelligent and caring professional. Certainly, he is one of the most competent Primary Care Physicians who have truly found their calling in life--Dr. Berger was meant to do this. I have had a number of potentially serious health issues that he has guided me through with consummate medical skill and real caring about achieving a positive outcome.
He has always worked with me to help me achieve my life-style objectives, and to resolve my medical problems with a view toward diet changes, exercise, and avoiding medication whenever possible. His recommendations for additional tests ,when necessary, and for consulting with specialists have been right-on and have helped me to manage my health in a way that I feel totally confident in. Dr. Berger is the very best Primary Care Physician that we have ever had. At age 72, I am confident that I will lead a healthy life well into my 90's with the help of his SUPERB care. Thanks, Dr.B

We've been patients of Dr Berger since moving to the area in 1992, long before he became affiliated with MDVIP. We were glad that we could afford the change to MDVIP, because we did not want to leave him, his practice! He's terrific. He's smart and thoughtful; easy to talk to. He asks insightful questions that focus on me as a person as well as the medical issue. He's compassionate and responsive. He listens to me. He's open and willing to consider several solutions to a problem. In every case where another specialist's advice is required, he has recommended doctors that I have confidence in. I'm so grateful to have Dr. Berger as my own personal health manager and advisor.

Dr. Berger is an extremely caring and concerned physician. He has not only helped me, but also my husband. He is always there when we need him and he goes above and beyond in placing phone calls and making visits to the hospital when we are experiencing problems. I believe that he really cares about me and wants the best for my health in the future. I am trying to follow his advice to keep myself healthy.

Brent Berger, M.D. is thorough, patient, and has always been incredibly responsive to my needs, questions and concerns. His return to the patient is faster than the oft quoted: faster than a speeding bullet. He's conservative in his approach to prescriptions for me, but upon request he comes around to the approach: O.K. if you need more of this low dosage, then just, as you need, take more. Oh, did I say he has a super positive personality and approach to life.
