Being a physician has been my life-long passion! There is nothing else in life that I have wanted to do. For close to 30 years I have enjoyed caring for my patients as my extended family. My partner, Dr. Brett Brechner, and I understand and recognize the need for proactive, preventive care in thwarting disease and illness. Our passion continues to be patient care and providing clinical knowledge in a compassionate and friendly environment. Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.

Dr Jacobus, his nurse practitioners, nurses and staff are all excellent. Been going here for a out a decade and don't plan on leaving anytime soon!

Do not recommend for anything other than immunizations. I don't know how this man still has any patients. Probably all from his church. No one ever answers the phone and if they do they put you on hold for 15 min. If you leave a message, they get back to you about an hour to two hours later. Then when you do manage to make an appointment, he keeps you waiting in the patient room for over an hour in addition to the half hour he had you in the waiting area all for a five minute interaction. To top it all off, he wouldn't bother to look at my chart before coming in. I had to remind him that the nurse found I had an infection before he was about to send me on my way. So he didn't bother checking my chart before coming to talk to me. I have since found a different doctor an am much happier. I suggest you do the same.

Dr. Jacobus has been our family physician since 1994. He has always treated us with care and compassion during our visits. He is a very knowledgeable physician that I trust with our on going care.
While there is a wait for service some days, we recognize he has many patients and plan accordingly. We try to be proactive in our scheduled appointments with Dr. Jacobus, but have seen Dr. Brechner and the three Nurse Practitioners also on occasion.
The office staff has been helpful with our appointments, prescription refills, nurse call returns and lab results. While we have recently moved out of state, we still return to Indiana for family visits and appointments in this office.
While there is a wait for service some days, we recognize he has many patients and plan accordingly. We try to be proactive in our scheduled appointments with Dr. Jacobus, but have seen Dr. Brechner and the three Nurse Practitioners also on occasion.

Dr. Jacobus is a kind and a fantastic doctor! He explains everything in terms that you can understand, and will answer all questions with honesty and truth. Dr. Jacobus spends as much time that is needed for you to understand what is going on with your illness. Even my service dog loves going to his office.

Everybody there is very friendly and Dr Jacobus is just wonderful! He is worth it to go see! I highly recommend him to everybody I know because he is just one of the best actors I've ever had and I have had some pretty terrible ones. I had not seen him in 2 years and he remembered my daughter's name and that I even had a daughter. In my opinion that's one hell of a doctor! 10 stars if I could ♡♡

Dr. Jacobus has a wonderful bedside manner. He greets everyone in the room, and even interacts with our children. I have been a nurse and worked taking care of many of his patients. Dr. Brechner is also fabulous! He delivered 3/5 of our children, and the NP's..including ****Brit**" is #1.The practice works for God, and participates I. Numerous mission trips! God bless them all..

Dr. Brent Jacobus is the best doctor I have ever found , very caring ,very intelligent ! and very knowledgeable ! He helped me in several ways that no other doctor found , and his staff is phenomenal and when I call and if I get their voicemail I get a return call immediately I love everybody there ! he even calls me to check up on me.
