Dr. Forgason has been our family doctor for nearly 30 years. He has seen my 3 sons grow up, treated each of my 2 ex wives, has watched over my now 100 year old Mother, and of course myself. We all appreciate Dr. Burt's gentle approach to medical treatment and attention to detail. I firmly believe that he has exerted a very positive influence on the family's health and well-being.

Dr. Forgason has been my personal physician for over 20 years. His demeanor is always pleasant and his genuine interest in my health is very comforting. Finally, he shows that he values my time as well as his because I always have very little waiting time for appointments.

I always have a truly outstanding experience with Dr. Forguson and his wonderful team. From the moment I walk into the office, I am greeted with kindness and professionalism. Mary, the receptionist, is incredibly friendly and efficient—she makes the check-in process seamless and always has a warm smile that puts you at ease right away.
Nurse Kendall is equally fantastic—compassionate, attentive, and very knowledgeable. She makes me feel comfortable throughout the entire visit and is great at answering all of my questions clearly and patiently.
Dr. Forguson himself is exceptional. He’s not only extremely skilled and knowledgeable, but he also takes the time to listen and explain things thoroughly. His calm demeanor and genuine care for his patients really stood out to me. I never feel rushed, and I left the office feeling confident and well cared for.

I credit Dr Forgason with preventing me from having a catastrophic heat attack. I had very mild symptoms but he recommended a stress test which discovered the widow maker heart blockages. I was able to get bypass surgery before it became an issue.

We were very lucky to be introduced to Dr. Forgason, a very considerate and amazing doctor who is always available and quick to respond to any query we might have. You will be welcomed warm, cheerful and very helpful Mary. Kendall, his very efficient and professional nurse is also an extremely helpful and warm person. It is not your usual doctor's visit from beginning to end.

Dr. Forgason is my grandmother's doctor. I assist with her appointments from time to time. We love Dr. Forgason! His staff are all very nice, detailed and helpful. The office is very clean and parking couldn't be easier. He literally has spaces outside his office that are only 10 (maybe less) steps away from the door. This is so convenient for elderly individuals. The entire space of offices is super cute. They look like little homes, and again, the convenience! (my grandmother has multiple doctors in this area and even my dentist is in this space)
His nurse, Kendall, is very knowledgeable and she is always good with my grandmother. It takes a special finesse to handle elderly patients. They need you to speak slowly, have more patience and might need extra time in the office to go over things they don't always understand right from the beginning. Dr. Forgason and Kendall always handle this well. The front desk receptionist, I think her name is Mary, always remembers who I am when I call for my grandmother. She is always helpful in getting an appointment when needed even if we call for an urgent need. I know my grandmother loves this doctor because she has been going to him before reviews were even a thing. Writing this for her. :) Highly recommend Dr. F!

He is the absolute best. Hands down the best. He takes the time to know and understand you and your concerns. After trying many other providers I settled in on this practice. His staff is wonderful and they have been with him for years.

Dr. Forgason is just the VERY BEST! And his office staff is OUTSTANDING! He spends a lot of time going over your entire health profile and I have always been so pleased with his attentiveness and diagnosis. You can reach him at any time for emergencies and Mary, his office manager, will always be there for you! Much thanks to them for all they do!!

I have been more than satisfied with the care and treatment I have received from Dr. Burt Forgason and the MDVIP program. An excellent value and much more than I expected. Dr. Forgason and his staff are the very best I have encountered. Dedicated, experienced professionals and wonderful people. I have never been treated better. The absolute worst primary care doctor in my experience! I signed on to Forgasons practice through md/vip because I was tired of group practices. Except for arthritis I was generally healthy until I developed a condition last fall that really needed attention. This guy took one look and referred me to a wound clinic. No diagnostics, no specialists, no treatment by him whatsoever. I ended up at a private e.r.one weekend where they did extensive testing.. I asked Forgasons office to see the results,, but on what would be our last visit, he got angry, said I'm done with you, and stomped off, tossing my file to his receptionist! Instead of just saying here is my advice, if you don't accept it, ill refer you to a specialist to try and get help with this painful and debilitating condition. So here I am, with no doctor at all, in the middle of the Christmas holiday! Very professional! I cannot state strongly enough what a bad experience this has been. Shame on this man!

I moved back to Houston in 1998 and Dr. F has been my primary care physician for the duration.
Along the way he identified my PSA count increase that presaged the onset of Prostate cancer. I had that taken care of with robotic removal at MD Anderson.
He has helped with a host of minor and moderate ailments over the years and always treated me with great interest and respect.
Recently I had some issues with A Fib and had to go on to specialists in electro physiology at Methodist. Dr. F stays in touch with all the drugs and treatments! A great friend too.
Along the way he identified my PSA count increase that presaged the onset of Prostate cancer. I had that taken care of with robotic removal at MD Anderson.
He has helped with a host of minor and moderate ailments over the years and always treated me with great interest and respect.

Dr. Forgason is a caring, informative physician who puts me at ease in a comfortable, conversational environment. He asks a lot of questions, listens carefully to answers, and explains things in terminology I can understand. When he refers me to a specialist, or orders further testing, he explains why he is recommending the next step. His staff is kind, knowledgeable, thorough, and...personable! And so is Dr. Forgason.

Ex customer of his before he joined the VIP group with an additional $1,650 a year. No, I don't need to chit chat for an hour with my Dr. and a general med Dr. doesn't command that kind of premium. Ex customer as I'm not going to return to the same Dr. after his outrageous price increase. VIP Dr. fees plus insurance billing is taking medicine the WRONG way. Before this in the 3-5 visits I had before his bedside manner was good and his attention to detail is strong. He does care about people it's just a shame he got into this greedy VIP system by his own choice or by a shuckster.

Pay no heed to the single star rating provided by Mr. Bornheimer. If you just want to get "looked at", you should go the the 24hr doc-in-the-box down the street.
Me, and nearly every member of two generations of my family have been grateful patients of Dr. Forgason for many, many years. He is a family doctor of an entirely higher order, with a wealth of experience and discernment, and the most conscientious physician I have ever known. Yes, he is now part of a concierge group that charges an annual membership fee. HOWEVER, what this also means is that, according to his OWN protocol, he can and does spend a great deal of time with each and every one of his patients. It is not uncommon for me to spend 45 min with him, and even as much as an hour on some occasions. He and his staff provide the highest level of excellence I have ever found in a medical practice, and I would give him the highest recommendation for anyone looking for a true family/internal medicine physician.

The doctor is now requiring a yearly membership fee on top of the cost of medical. The cost is 1,650 / year. This is outrageous to consider that he is also taking money from United Healthcare too. I would not recommend due to the costs associated with just to be looked at.
