Caren B. Singer, MD

My 89 year old mother is a Singer patient. I believe Singer is a PCP. Have known her years nice person. IMO leaves a lot on the table as a doctor. On August 1,2021 my mother fell on her back attempting to use the restroom at 0300hrs. Mind you today is 8-16-2021. Singer who is a USF medical school graduate never sent her to a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon immediately. I live on a street with approximately six homes. One of my neighbors Jeff Cantor is a highly respected Orthopedic Fort Lauderdale surgeon. I have asked my sister why all she does is prescribe Tramadol and Tylenol 3 which only makes her loopy. When I have a neighbor Cantor who is rated 5 star with approximate 100 reviews. This guys the real deal as a specialist. Singer is not a specialist just to day ordered an MRI, 16 days after the fall. Unconscionable by a PCP. After 80 I have read x-rays, MRI's and CT scan's should be ordered by a highly qualified Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon after an office visit. Now she has her sitting at this moment in COVID infested Broward General. When she could easily say talk to your son about seeing Cantor or another Orthopedic doctor. As I have learned over the last two weeks back pain can move to another area. Then my mom will feel OK for a day. The next three days excruciating pain in different area. Again nice lady put playing with my mom's health is unacceptable. Mr.Dan Quinn

Dr. Singer is an outstanding, caring, knowledgeable physician. She is a credit to her profession. She has respect for me and I feel we are a team in understanding my health issues and developing a treatment plan.
