Celeste Knight Peterson, MD

I am in my seventies and I have been fortunate to have very caring PCPs for the past 20 some years. As I grow older, I realize I need my doctor to be able to spend more time with me at my appointments. That’s when I got to meet Dr. Celeste Peterson through MDVIP almost 2 tears ago. I find her to be very caring and open minded with my likes and more importantly my dislikes, when it comes to medical treatments. She listens to my every need and acts promptly everytime, even after office hours and on weekends. I was especially touched last January when I contacted Covid-19 for the first time and Dr. Peterson was vacationing in Florida with her family. Upon hearing from her office staff about my illness, she immediately gave them instructions to prescribe Paxlovid for me and asked that I watch my blood pressure carefully. I appreciated greatly her attentiveness even while she was on a trip that resulted to my quick recovery. Dr. Celeste Peterson is indeed a very caring doctor with very helpful staff. I trust that she will always be there for me in times of need, as well as in periods of good health. I am so blessed to have her for my doctor.

Having been treated be my MDVIP Dr., Celeste Peterson, for other health issues before, I recently had a problem with my knee that caused me to call for an appointment to be seen. I spoke with her wonderful assistant; Taya. It was my Dr’s day off so I was hoping to get in sometime in the next two weeks. This has been my previous experience with other physicians so imagine my surprise to be called back shortly by my Internist; Dr Peterson. She was concerned and asked me the pertinent questions about my problem. She asked about my comfort level and if I needed immediate help. I said no and we hung up. Soon the phone rang and she had gotten an appointment for me with a Specialist in the field, Dr. Bourne. Impossibly, she got me in to be seen just a few days later. Dr Peterson’s concern was very clear in her voice as she asked about my comfort level again. I assured her that I was fine.
I saw Dr. Bourne for the problem and he was wonderful, too. He is resolving my knee problem and I’ll return to him in a month.
I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Celeste Peterson. Over the past year that she has been my Dr. I have been constantly surprised and pleased by her gentle, warm care and professional approach to any health issue I have or may have in the future. She, in a word is; terrific!

Both my husband and I were/are patients of Dr Patterson. He died July 16,2023. His final months were a series of medical appointments, emergency room visits, hospital stays, rehabilitation and living in an assisted living home. I could not have navigated it all without Dr Peterson’s assistance. She was available even when on vacation. Checking in and taking my calls directly. Most appreciated was her guidance for me to interpret the multiple medical professionals treatment of my husband in these various facilities. Other general practitioners dropped off the radar, including ones with MDVIP! No continuity or follow through. Dr Peterson by comparison was there for me! Helping make the best decisions for care of my husband. She caught several errors by various medical providers and talked with them. She even came with me to the assisted living home to meet with staff there. She visited him there also. She came to his funeral. We could not save his life. But in a very stressful time for me, Dr Peterson was there for me. Thank you.

I've seen a lot of doctors in my 77 years, but Celeste Peterson is the best of them all. She is so patient and understanding, plus she is really smart!!
