Conigliaro Jones, MD, FAAFP

I have known Dr. Conigliaro Jones well over ten years before he became an
MDVIP provider. I was a cancer patient who recently relocated to SC from NY.
Often times I felt hopeless and so sick, Dr. Jones would talk to me with words of encouragement telling me not to give up.
He walked me through this journey. Today I am 15 years cancer free. Several years later, I was diagnosed with HEP C
and once again Dr. Jones came to the rescue. He and his staff made a quick referral to a specialist in Charleston.
Now I am in remission. I’m a patient with a history of several physical health challenges. Never had Dr. Jones said to me “I don’t know what to do Ms. Harris “.
He has taken the time to explain my
condition and how to treat it. A year ago I was diagnosed with Parathyroid disease.
Unfortunately, here in Columbia, SC there’s no parathyroid specialist.
Dr. Jones once again made a referral outside of Columbia to a Parathyroid specialist. Through this referral, I am getting quality care for my thyroid.
Dr. Jones doesn’t just rely on his own judgment he has no ego and will never hesitate to seek help elsewhere if needed. Because of this referral, it was discovered that surgery is necessary.

I have watched Dr. Jones grow over the years. His demeanor and bedside manner has not changed. He brings with him in the patient room his bright smile, pleasant demeanor, and compassion.
I truly believe that Dr. Jones loves his patients and loves being a doctor. When he told me that he was looking at advancing his profession and seeking opportunities elsewhere, I was concerned that he was leaving. He is now with MDVIP, it hasn’t come with its challenges but with perseverance and his strong faith, Dr. Jones is a champion.
MDVIP has amongst their group of medical staff one of the finest. I am looking forward to what the future holds for Dr. Jones and I am honored to say that he is my doctor. Thank you

I have been in the medical field for years as a EMT and a medical in the Army. Since my time in both areas I've become very concerned about the independence of doctors, the efficacy of doctor patient interactions, and the loss of family doctors to hospital conglomerate and big pharma. Simply put, doctors that work too hard to pay off debt, seeing too many patients, having their hands tied by hospital groups and pharmaceutical lobbying; leading to decrease care and medication push versus true care. This led me to not trust doctors, hospital systems, and the care being pushed on me and others. Dr. CONIGLIARO JONES changed that for me by operating outside of that system. He does not have an outrageous patient load, listens to you, interacts with youas well as provide specific holistic care. He sent me to specialist as needed and provided only necessary medications and care. He takes the time to understand me as an individual patient, tailoring my care to my specific needs. Also, taking the time to explain the entire process without rushing me out for the next patient or paycheck. This affords him time to understand me as an individual patient, and tailor my treatment to only what I need. He looks at what really works versus what is being pushed by big pharma and system collective. This tailored approach instills trust, educational treatment for me, as well as giving me a role in my personal care. Please continue to allow him to truly manage his patient load and not be pressured to make quotas. Doctors with this freedom can truly care for their patients, teach the next generation of providers, and make a difference in the overall care of patients. It also supports the need for more smaller community family practitioners. Along with paying our providers appropriately without fear of the need to make money for the collective.

Yesterday I met my new doctor Dr C Jones who replaced David Fisher because Dr Fisher canceled 7 appointments since April 2023. I paid $2,000 for Doctor Fisher’s services but it was for 1 appointment and lab work in March 2023. I think I should not have to pay for a MVIP doctor who no longer cared about any of his patients .

I liked DrJones upon meeting him a few days ago. He was very thorough and listened to my concerns of being on blood thinners and diabetes and the previous Doctor has supposedly retired.

Dr Jones is the first doctor that I have that actually cares about his patients and is quick to report lab work done the same day. He not only is a valuable doctor for MDVIP but a caring and responsible doctor for The office in Elgin he shared with Doctor Martin. Thank you for recommending him. I am truly happy and no longer scared because of lack of communication with the retiring Doctor

I want to share my thoughts about an amazing physician Dr. David Fisher in Columbia, SC. Although he has since retired because of personal medical issues, he deserves to be celebrated because of his attentiveness to his patients. My husband and I were patients of his for a little over 2 years, in that time he proved to be caring and professional and always available to us. We at times would text him with concerns or questions and he immediately responded and gave advice and or a specific course of action. Even when he himself was ill or not in the office, he would still quickly respond and be available to us. I admire his desire to serve his patients even when he was not feeling well. At no time did I ever feel like he was not available or not in a position to help me. We miss him and pray for his recovery to better health. We continue to be MDVIP patients with Dr. Frank Martin who is also an exemplary and excellent doctor. And we look forward to meeting Dr. Jones who has since joined the practice. The staff at MDVIP are the best and the overall experience at MDVIP is great and one that my husband and I value very much. Please share with Dr. Fisher and the others. Thank you.
