About Curt D. Blacklock, DO, FACP
As an MDVIP-affiliated doctor, my goal is to help manage your unique healthcare needs. I will partner with you on a personal level to help you achieve the optimal health we all value. We will closely collaborate on what it takes to stay on the path to wellness. My staff and I strive to make you feel welcome and relaxed in our office by giving you the individual attention you deserve.
In addition to being a board-certified internist and primary care physician for over 30 years, I am also a Fellow of the American College of Physicians® and have served as a registered pharmacist. I will use my broad experience and continuing education to help care for your chronic medical problems and work with you to focus on disease prevention.
The personalized care model that I offer allows me the time to focus on each patient. My MDVIP-affiliated practice offers services, including comprehensive, advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests, that go far beyond those found in concierge medicine practices.
My practice is conveniently located in the Glasgow Medical Center in Newark, Delaware, behind the Peoples Plaza shopping center. My patients come from New Castle, Kent and Cecil Counties and as far as parts of northeast Maryland, Sussex County, Delaware, and Chester County, Pennsylvania.

This survey is mildly amusing inasmuch as it often makes the assumption that I remember what it's talking about. Most of what concerns the survey is either beyond my ability to assess, or it doesn't seem to me to have anything to do with me. Maybe I am missing something it presumes?

I had complications from a second Covid infection. Curt's concern and empathy was over the top. I truly believe I feel as well as I do now because of his efforts.

Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.
