Dr. Nierenberg has been our pcp for almost twenty years. My husband and I both agree that he is the best doctor we have ever had. He takes his time with us, keeps us well informed, and is thorough. He answers our questions completely, and we leave his office feeling on top of everything. He is not an alarmist when delivering less than positive news. We have also found him to be a very… See more

Testimonials from patients of Dr. Nierenberg
Long ago — maybe about 25 years ago — I saw tears in the eyes of Dr Nierenberg shortly after my mother-in-law’s death. He was her doctor and her sudden death was devastating for him. To this very day those deep feelings of David shine as he takes care of the health of me and my wife. He really seeks to make life a pleasure.
My testimonial is not about one incident, but rather a continuous approach to my wellness. Dr Nierenberg has guided me through a number of issues very well, including a stroke and prostate issues. He’s been ‘ right on’ with diagnosis and treatment on every occasion. I am very thankful for him !

I truly have the best doctor in the world. He takes the incredible care of me and my husband. I am almost 68 and I began seeing him when my parents were both diagnosed with cancer when I was in my mid 30's. I ended up losing both my parents, one to rectal cancer and the other to sarcoma. Dr. Nierenberg said I needed to have a colonoscopy every 5 years to make sure I was clear of… See more
Over the years we have been going to Dr. David Nierenberg, he has been there for us. When my wife was admitted to the hospital for a dislocated shoulder, he was there. When I was admitted for blood clots he was there. No question has gone unanswered, no wondering what is wrong, but always explaining and spending time with us to be sure we have what we need at the time. We consider him to be… See more
I appreciate his caring attitude. He LISTENS to me, doesn't mind my questions, and explains procedures to me. I only wish I could make arrangements for him to outlive me !
Such a simple story. He LISTENS to my concerns and spends time explaining all of my test results. I appreciate the time he spends with me and the fact that he is his trying to prevent health problems before they arise.
One of the many reasons I appreciate my doc is that he takes the necessary time to give the best care possible to his patients. I’ve noted, for example, that when I appear for my “annual”, he begins with a review of my last visit and the time in between. He comes to the visit with a whole page of notes, enabling him to focus on the most important issues.
I also appreciate his… See more
I was in DR. David’s office for my yearly health assessment. I believe i was 79 years old . He told me i needed to have a colonoscopy since it had been several years since i had one. He recommended a doctor for me to go to. The doctor found a pre cancerous polyp and removed it. I am thankful to Dr. David, i believe he saved my life! He also has been a good friend to my husband Dan & i. He… See more
Dr. David Nierenberg has been my physician for over 10 years. He recently joined the MDVIP program. I have had a by-pass surgery 20 years ago and my blood analysis always revealed that cholorestol, LDL, HDL, and triglycerides were all within acceptable guidelines. After he became a member of the MDVIP group of physicians, he beganb to send my blood samples to the Cleveland Heart Institute… See more
