About David S. Clifford, MD
My goal as your personal family physician is to help you live a healthier and more active, fulfilling and independent life. Our teamwork helps my patients and me better address acute care situations while emphasizing wellness and approaches to help prevent disease.
I believe that my education, practice experience and expertise along with compassion and understanding can offer a better healthcare experience, one that can help foster a happier and healthier life.
Practicing in West Seneca for 28 years, I am acquainted with numerous specialists for referrals as needs arise. My MDVIP affiliation supports more individualized care, and the annual wellness program includes advanced screenings and tests shown to help better detect certain risk factors earlier. I hope to help you focus on wellness and prevention, both physically and cognitively, by reviewing possible indicators for heart disease, diabetes and emotional health issues, to name a few. And we offer same- or next-day appointments for added peace of mind.

Back in the early 2000’s I went for my usual mammogram to a local medical center. After the mammogram they said they needed to do a biopsy. They called it a needle biopsy and set the date. Would recommend Dr. Clifford to anyone looking for a new primary. He is friendly and not only listens to his patients but cares about them. My husband, myself and all of my kids see him. If having a great doctor isn't enough, his staff is beyond amazing. All of them are friendly and kind. They go above and beyond, truly feel's like you are the only patient and not a burden. It's such a comfortable inviting practice and team of professionals that make it feel like home.

My mother is a patient w/ the practice and is now 90 yrs old. The office staff could not be more attentive and professional to her! We just had her yearly appointment, very thorough and understanding of her limitations. I call often regarding my mother’s care and the staff is always helpful. It really is comforting to have Dr. Clifford and his office help our family navigate this stage of our mother’s life. Thank you~

I recently attended my 100-year-old uncles yearly checkup Dr Clifford was patient kind and listen attentively to all our questions and concerns this man certainly is the doctor who cares and takes time to make his patients feel comfortable and concerned about their health

office staff is clueless, they constantly are not very nice and do things incorrectly. i had an appointment for 6 months and they call me the day before canceling cuz the person i see wasn’t in the office that day and apparently never is that day of the week!! then why schedule me and not let me know til the day before. they email me a survey and i said how unhappy i was and next thing i know i get an email saying they no longer wish to be my doctor. LOL. real professional. it’s all good i was looking to goto an office that was competent anyway!

The worst Doctor ever, I went to the doctor about 15 years ago I went in for a visit and he took my blood pressure once and gave me a script for high blood pressure which I never did have God knows what would have happened if I filled the script and took it. My husband called to see the doctor they refused to see him even though he was having some serious problems they told him to just go to immediate Care for a covid test. What the hell kind of doctor refuses to see a sick patient

Throughout my visits there I don't feel they ever gave me solutions to the problems I brought up. They were always pleasant towards me but due to feeling like I never got answers, I decided to no longer be a patient.

Nurse and doctor more concerned with whether a mask that doesn’t prevent viral transmission is over your nose, than the actual care/needs of the patient. Unprofessional attitudes and attempts to engage with the patient arguing over something that is irrelevant to the visit. It’s embarrassing when medical “professionals” are unaware that there are no RCTs that confirm the effectiveness of masks. It’s even more embarrassing that their willingness to do their job is dependent on your adherence to pseudoscience.

I have been going to this practice for 3+ years and have ALWAYS had a pleasant experience. Staff are always friendly. I was diagnosed with a very rare condition by my eye doctor and while a lot doctors havd not heard of it, even the NPP at the specialist didnt know what I was talking about, Dr. Cliffords practice sent me for a colonoscopy immediately. This ended up saving my life!!! I trust him and his staff.

TALK ABOUT UNPROFFESIONAL!!!!!!
I have never had such an unprofessional Doctor and staff, they are rude and disrespectful. They said they dropped me as a patient back in July 2016 cause I would not come in to see the Doctor after a tip to the ER. I did not need more medical attention but obviously he needed his money. I refused to come, waste my time and miss work for nothing. He just wants money!!!!!!! Doesn't care about the actual patient. Yet I have a script from him on for my daily medicine dated 2/24/17... so much for doing your job Doc. The script was good till 3/16/17.. so how is he not my doctor. TOTAL SCAMMERS looking to make a quick buck off us and our insurance. When I called to ask, they said we are not longer your doctor and hung up. I will be taking this a step further as they have restricted my need for medical attention and not providing the medication I need on a daily basis. Anyone who calls will notice the tone of the office right over the phone... so if you want to be treated like crap and have your money wasted .. Call them!!!

I was a long time patient here.....never once met the doctor...always his staff...however I was ok with thay because the staff was very nice! My last appointment he had new staff who was very rude and not concerned about my well being rather crossing all her t's and dotting i's.with medical background (which was all right there) I went in for a problem with my calf/foot and she only was concerned about my health history and she never checked my leg at all. I brought my concerns up to the office staff and they assured me I would not have to see her again. Well to my surprise they sent me a letter that they can no longer be my doctor. So unprofessional! Now I have been searching for a doctor for 3 months! Be careful if you go to this doctor and have medical needs that you need to keep up on. I have had to go to mash clinic for my ongoing health issues!

I have been with this practice for 18 years & that speaks volumes. The staff has been consistently pleasant, efficient and I a treated with respect and dignity. Dr. Clifford is an exceptional, caring physician. He listens to you and is an excellent diagnostician. I am very thankful to be under the care of this practice.

Dr. Clifford and his staff are thorough, pleasant, and very concerned with the health and wellness of the patients. I've never waited more than a few minutes to see the Doctor and he takes his time with each patient to address all questions and concerns. I live nowhere near this office, but will always make the drive for the comprehensive, patient-centered care found here.

The one thing that I really enjoy about this place is their high level of customer service. Their full attention is always on me and they never take personal calls during my appointment. I've been to other places that answer their phone and it just drives me crazy. I was happy and relieved that they were able to answer all of my questions. I felt like I got a good amount of information. I don't know of anywhere else that would've taken better care of me. I had a great experience. I didn't have to wait at all after I arrived for my appointment. They were running right on time, which is a really big deal for me. I haven't seen any coupons or discounts for this provider's office, but I haven't really looked. They never mention anything about promotions when I'm there.

I think Dr. Clifford is an excellent Physician. Many Doctors could learn from the way he runs his practice and the compassionate care he gives his patients. Dr. Clifford listened to me when no one else did. I can't say enough about what an excellent Doctor he is. Turned out there were things wrong that no one had diagnosed. He got me the help and care I needed. Dr. Clifford, his Physician's Assistants, and all the office staff are extremely professional and go over and above to help me when I need medical care. I plan to stay with Dr. Clifford indefinitely and always recommend his practice to anyone who may ask.

I have never had a doctor who treats people with no respect. His bedside manners are the worse I have ever had in my life. He doesn't listen to you, he treats you and your family as if they all have your medical conditions and his office staff is just as bad. The lady at the window when you first walk in judges you and I have no idea how Catholic Health can give him an award for being a good doctor. I brought my mother there one time and she walked out saying how can a doctors office run like this. You are better off going to a Veterinarian then going to this doctor he is a joke and so is his office thank god I am no longer a patient of his.
