I have been on hypertension medication for years now and in control. Last year I experienced high blood pressure spike in the early morning hours. I woke up and felt strange, I got out of bed and went to the living room and took my BP it was elevated. I continued taking it ever 20 minutes or so and it was rising. ( 212/100 ). I don’t remember exactly how how but I started panicking. I reached for my phone and called Dr, Dee Dee Luke it was 2:30 AM. Dr. Luke answered my call immediately with Cheryl what wrong? She calmly spoke to me asking questions and telling me what to do. Wake my husband, unlock door and call 911, she stayed on the line with me in till the ambulance arrived.
Having a MDIVP does have lots of benefits like being able to speak to your doctor in emergency situations. I have personally experienced this kind of event a couple of times. My hypertension has been happening at least once a year but having my MDIVP Physician is a blessing.

I'm 82 years old and have my share of medical issues. This is the first time I have felt so comfortable and confident in any medical system.Dr. Luke and her staff are the reason for this. From the first meeting with DeeDee I knew I had found a truly caring doctor and staff. My husband and I are so thankful we decided to make the choice to go with MdVip. We feel so much at home.

My wife Carole and I moved to Broussard from Baton Rouge 5.5 years ago. Soon after arriving, an emergency sent her to the hospital where we found we needed to choose a Primary Care Physician. So, we both signed up with one who was recommended. He was a good doctor. However we had hoped to find someone who wasn’t always so rushed. We know that wasn’t his fault; it was the system’s fault. Later, someone recommended MDVip. We had never heard of it. We looked it up and got the information. Carole was especially happy to see that an office was close to home and also saw that the doctor was a female (something she had hoped for). So she took the plunge first and quickly knew she had done the right thing. She suggested I do the same, which I did.

Now we both are delighted to have Dr. DeeDee Luke as our Primary Care Physician.
Here’s just a few of the many reasons why:
She takes as much time as needed to make sure that we get the best care possible. Her “bedside manner” is exemplary; and it’s not put on, it’s just who she is. She listens to and respects what we have to say, which means we each participate to make the best decisions. As a result, our health plans are not the one size fits all type, but are highly personalized. She studies our charts and test results, and does whatever research is needed for each patient.
The atmosphere in Dr. Luke's office is truly family oriented, and that same mindset is evident in every member of her staff, without exception. We have all become not just docs and patients but also friends. How many doctors offices do most people know about where one can experience heartfelt and genuine conversation and laughter with a feeling of camaraderie.

Dr. Luke and her entire staff have always gone the extra mile to take care of us.
We are so very grateful.
