Dr Ruth is a great doc!

Dr. Eckert not only provides excellent care for both my wife and me, she obviously stays up to date on medical and pharmaceutical innovations and procedures. She is accessible and her staff is extremely helpful and professional.

Dr. Eckert has been my physician since 1982, that says it all!!!!

Dr. Ruth is always kind, attentive and informative.. She listens carefully to me and thoughtfully responds. I always leave her office confident that I have been given the best advice and course of action. She even backs up her answers with statistics! She is amazing!

Dr. Eckert has been my doctor since the early 1990''s. She never is in a hurry to rush me out of my appointment. She wants me to take good and healthy care of myself. I feel very special and satisfied that I have been given her complete wellness plan. Thank you Dr. Eckert.

Dr. Ruth Eckert is a caring and knowledgeable doctor who carefully explains what I need to know and actively listens to my questions. She and her staff are compassionate and highly professional. I always feel welcome and well cared for.

I had been Dr. Eckert's patient for several years prior to the announcement of her Meet and Greet in 2011 to explain the care she could offer with MDVIP. She had been inspired by her grandfather, the town doctor in a small town in the midwest to become a doctor. She longed to have a more in-depth connection with her patients and I always hoped for a physician that was personable, professional, dedicated to her practice, to knowing me as a person, and very accessible. Dr. Eckert indicated she planned to reduce her 3,000 patients to 600. I signed up immediately as it sounded too good to be true and I wanted to be in the 600.
I love the full yearly physical which is the only time I see Dr. Eckert. Under her care I seem to stay healthy.
Our only disagreement which we laugh about is her recommendation for me to receive a yearly flu shot (she is required to recommend one) However, I have never the flu and I pass on the shot. I did have the two Covid shots and did not get Covid.
I also thoroughly enjoy her staff. She has chosen them wisely to reflect her professionalism and attitudes about health care. I am very happy as what could be more important than good health. Recently my daughter became an MDVIP member and we chat about how fortunate we are to receive Dr Eckert's personal care.

I was so sad when Dr Eckert told me she could not be my doctor because I was too sick. I had been her patient for many years beforehand. Shame on Dr. Eckert for her lack of care. Beware that you better be well to have her as your doctor.

Dr Eckert provides the finest in modern health care and is always current and forward looking in all aspects of the practice, and always makes me feel as I am her only patient.

Dr. Ruth Eckert is excellent. She has been my personal family physician for several years. She carefully listens to my concerns, asks important questions, performs a very thorough exam, and makes sure I understand the care plan she suggests. Dr. Eckert is also very caring and a really lovely person.

As an experienced ICU nurse, it takes a great deal for a doctor to impress me. Dr Eckert has far exceeded my expectations She is truly the best family practice doctor in town. She stays current in the latest research and truly understands what it means to focus on “wellness care”. She’s takes time to listen to you. I never feel hurried. She is always available to take my call. She as well as her staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Totally recommend her!
