I've see Dr. Edelstein twice and am thrilled to be in her practice. She takes all the time necessary to explain everything clearly. She picks up on things that weren't even a concern to me. Her Assistant, Shanae is extremely gracious and professional. If a test is needed Shanae has made the arrangement for me before I have even left the office. 5 stars all around!

Dr. Edelstein and her office are responsive and helpful. She is very knowledgeable and really cares about her patients. My annual physical is the most comprehensive that I have ever received. During the year she and her office are always available to respond to any problems. The best thing we have done since moving back to NJ was engaging Dr. Edelstein as our primary physician.

Dr. Edelstein is the absolute best. After multiple years telling my prior GP about some nagging issues I finally called Dr. Edelstein. In a single visit she listened, did the required tests and realized I had an undiagnosed condition that required immediate attention. She is thorough, patient and responsive. There is never an issue getting an appointment and whatever the issue Dr. Edelstein will ensure it is addressed.

Dr Edelstein is an exceptional physician. After struggling for years, under her wonderful supervision, I dropped 20 pounds! And kept it off! Finally found a doctor in NYC! It’s been quite the journey going to different doctors and having poor experiences. Elizabeth is wonderful. My appointment started promptly, the nurses were friendly and professional and put me at ease. Dr. Edelstein treated me with kindness and respect. She was compassionate about my extreme "White coat syndrome", and took seriously all of my concerns. She asked questions and made recommendations without sounding judgmental or overbearing. Perhaps a small thing to some, but she had a conversation with me while I was fully dressed. For a nervous patient there is really nothing worse than trying to speak intelligently while wearing a paper gown. I have often felt bullied and judged by medical staff, but that was not at all my experience in this office. I will recommend the practice to anyone who asks.

Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.

MDVIP supports your physician’s practice and seeks to eliminate barriers to a positive healthcare experience.
