About Elizabeth Sherrock, MD

As a family medicine doctor, I believe that your health should be one of your biggest priorities. And I want to partner with you to help you work toward your goals of preventing and better controlling chronic diseases that might limit your overall well-being.   By taking the time to focus on the root cause of disease and healthier lifestyle interventions, we can work together to help focus on your health and try to minimize the need for medical interventions and medications.

After practicing primary care in Bartlesville for 28 years, I see the importance of focusing on nutrition, exercise, sleep and other wellness and prevention measures that may benefit you in the future. Through my affiliation with MDVIP, I can take more time to work with each person to assist in developing an individualized healthcare plan that can help you to be more proactive in your choices and hopefully enjoy a healthier life. I also want you to feel like I am your healthcare advocate who is available when needed. You can make same-day or next-day appointments most of the time, and for more urgent needs, you can contact me by phone during nights and weekends or if I am out of the office. My MDVIP affiliated practice also offers services, including comprehensive, advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests that go far beyond those found in concierge medicine practices.

Dr. Sherrock was a good doctor until she abandoned her patients to MDVIP. You have to pay around $3K a year just to see her now. That's on top of office visits, etc. Insurance doesn't pay for that annual fee.

Incompetent staff that are untrained in their positions. Went in for a breathing test, they deleted my results on accident after the breathing test and try to charge my insurer anyway for $120 but they used the wrong insurance because this attempt was clearly behind my back. I get a letter in the mail from a collections agency a year later completely randomly saying I owe them money for a failed test. I call the collection agency and within about 30 seconds they understand how ate up this operation is and they change the claim over to my actual insurance.

Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.

MDVIP makes wellness and prevention easier by providing your physician with innovative tools and technology. MDVIP supports your physician’s practice and seeks to eliminate barriers to a positive healthcare experience. Your doctor will determine whether and how to incorporate these tools at his/her discretion.
