About Eric Isenman, MD

I have practiced primary care and internal medicine in Melbourne, FL, for nearly two decades. Over this time, I have learned the importance of the relationship between patient and doctor. I believe this is a long-term relationship that requires trust and mutual respect. I feel it takes time to get to know patients, appreciate what their health goals are and discuss how I can support them as they pursue achievement of those goals. During my career, I have enjoyed getting to know my patients on a medical and personal basis. I found, unfortunately, the increasing stresses of traditional medical practice seem to make it more difficult to have more time to cultivate deeper patient-doctor relationships and focus on prevention and wellness.

Being an MDVIP affiliate allows me to have more time with my patients to provide even more personalized care. I can spend time to work as a team with my patients to formulate wellness plans that can help them work to achieve their health goals. My MDVIP-affiliated practice offers services, including comprehensive, advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests, that go far beyond those found in concierge medicine practices. I also offer same- or next-day appointments with minimal wait times. I look forward to each office visit as an opportunity to help patients review and discuss their wellness goals.

Born and raised in Brevard County, FL, I take pride in following in my father's footsteps as a primary care provider in this wonderful place to live. I'm happily married with two teenage children. I love spending time on the water, as well as playing golf and tennis.

Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.

MDVIP makes wellness and prevention easier by providing your physician with innovative tools and technology. MDVIP supports your physician’s practice and seeks to eliminate barriers to a positive healthcare experience. Your doctor will determine whether and how to incorporate these tools at his/her discretion.
