About Frank Okosun, MD
My goal as a board-certified internal medicine physician is to deliver personalized, patient-centered care rooted in evidence-based medicine, compassion and a steadfast commitment to prevention. I believe every patient deserves individualized attention, respect and dignity, and I strive to help my patients feel empowered through education, shared decision-making and preventive strategies, including the advanced screenings and tests offered in the annual MDVIP Wellness Program.
My clinical approach is informed by my experience in both hospital and outpatient settings. Being in the MDVIP model gives me the tools to better help you manage your chronic conditions, such as hypertension, diabetes, dyslipidemia, obesity and hypothyroidism. I currently serve patients throughout Brazoria County in southeast Texas—including Lake Jackson, Angleton, Freeport, Rosharon, and Pearland—as well as surrounding communities. I am an attending physician at CHI St. Luke's Health - Brazosport Hospital in Lake Jackson, Texas, and have been recognized as one of Castle Connolly Top Doctors® in Houston for 2025–2026.
My MDVIP-affiliated practice offers services, including comprehensive, advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests, that go far beyond those found in concierge medicine practices. I also offer conveniences like same- or next-day appointments with minimal waiting. I am dedicated to keeping abreast of the latest clinical research and I aim to educate patients as they pursue meaningful, lasting health.
In every patient encounter, my guiding principles are simple: Listen first, then discuss how I can support them in their unique goals. My passion is to provide individualized primary care that can not only supports a patient during illness but also helps them work toward lifelong wellness, resilience, and a lifestyle aligned with what matters most to them.

Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.
MDVIP makes wellness and prevention easier by providing your physician with innovative tools and technology. MDVIP supports your physician’s practice and seeks to eliminate barriers to a positive healthcare experience. Your doctor will determine whether and how to incorporate these tools at his/her discretion.
