About Frank Wang, MD
My intention with each patient is to form a partnership through open communication and also to empower my patients to make informed decisions about their health and well-being. Through my affiliation with MDVIP, there is an emphasis on prevention and proactive detection. We will do our best to manage current health problems and help navigate the complexity of health. Similar to conveniences often associated with concierge medicine practices, I also offer same- or next-day appointments that start on time.
My personalized internal medicine practice is located in Fairhope, Alabama. Our reach encompasses Baldwin County with patients from Bay Minette, Spanish Fort, Daphne to Foley, Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. My primary care practice is affiliated with Thomas Hospital.

We asked repeatedly if I had cancer. He said No,!! Then pulled records he knew I had cancer and was not going to tell me. Then I have found out several patients had cancer and he misdiagnosed . Run as fast as you can if you care about your life. Will be reporting him..Oh to keep review scores up, rns, Drs, family friends post reviews which are misleading. When I enrolled with Dr Frank Wang in late summer 2023, I had high hopes that he would provide a much better Doctor/patient experience than my previous primary care doctor, who was, to put it politely, AWFUL. Dr. Wang has not only met, but exceeded all my best hopes and expectations. Since then, ALL of my visits with Dr. Wang have been amazingly thorough, engaged, professional, deeply helpful, personable and kind, and very comforting. Dr. Wang is not just a physician; he is a HEALER. He cares. He is a good, kind, wise, super-competent doctor. Dr. Wang is the best physician I have ever had. His diagnostics for yearly physicals are the most thorough I have ever had. He also is very kind, knowledgeable, reasonable, and cares about his patients individually. I am very impressed that he admits and cares for his patients that require hospitalization. Dr. Wang is very easy to talk to and explains issues without rushing me. His staff is also very competent and kind. I never have to wait long in his waiting room for my appointments. A patient and their physician have to feel trust between them, and I feel that. I recently had a fall on the back of my head and followed up with him after a CT Scan. Dr. Wang made me feel comfortable with the symptoms that I was experiencing and
felt comfortable with his instructions.
Having a doctor whose patients can build a relationship with is always number one with me. Dr. Wang never rushes me and listens to what ever issues I may have. He is compassionate and understanding and addresses every issue I have. Sometimes when you go to the doctor you might be a little apprehensive about what might be wrong or what procedures are needed but I always have a sense that Dr. Wang knows what’s he’s doing and that gives me a great sense of confidence.
I can’t say enough good about the MDVP process but it is so so worth it. No waiting and having your own waiting room is a plus.

Dr. Frank Wang and his staff have changed my view of today's healthcare. I have received outstanding care from he and his staff. He never hurries me and is very eager to listen to me and explain in detail information about my conditions. He is also very upfront about his opinion to recommend another specialist to me and sets the appointments I need without the normal delays that one might expect from trying to get appointments with busy specialists. As we all know, stress is very negative on one's health and Dr. Wang has restored my faith in healthcare because he sees me as his patient, and not just another person on his appointment list for that day. The wellness testing that MDVIP provides lets me know how I am progressing BEFORE an actual medical situation arrives. I have peace of mind knowing I can rely on he and his staff at all times.

With the MDVIP program, Dr. Wang is available 24 hours a day. I've had to bother him at home on nights and weekends several times for advice, refills, etc. He is the nicest and smartest doctor I've ever had. I'm guessing he was an A+ student in Med School. Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.
