I am a double board-certified family medicine physician and clinical informaticist who specializes in primary care and hospital medicine. For me, medicine requires more than clinical understanding of human pathology and the medical treatment of human illness. I believe that the most successful doctors create and encourage open lines of communication, incorporate and value personalized and preventative care and deeply respect patient autonomy through education and learning. As a clinical informaticist, I understand the value of strengthening our relationship through open lines of communication. My hope is to improve health outcomes and enhance your care by providing information in the format in which you are most comfortable receiving it. I want to be an active and proactive primary care physician for you, meaning if you are hospitalized, seen by a specialist or have care outside of my practice that I am able to contribute to medical decisions that you and your other doctors make.
As your primary care physician, I will encourage improved health through personalized and preventative care using the annual MDVIP Wellness Program, a cornerstone of my medical practice. My MDVIP-affiliated practice offers services, including comprehensive, advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests, that go far beyond those found in concierge medicine practices. I believe that through proper diet, lifestyle modifications, exercise, screening exams and wellness evaluations, we can help predict and avoid most chronic illnesses before they become serious. Together, we focus on prevention and management of hypertension, heart disease, diabetes and COPD. My affiliation with MDVIP allows my patients access to meal plans and an extensive exercise library.
My office is in Mesa, AZ and serves patients in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tempe, Gilbert, Chandler, Ahwatukee and the SanTan area. I am currently credentialed at HonorHealth Scottsdale Osborn Medical Center, HonorHealth John C. Lincoln Medical Center - North Mountain, and HonorHealth Thompson Peak Medical Center. I offer same-day or next-day appointments, and I am available for telemedicine visits as well.
