About Hope Ijaola, MD
Practicing medicine, for me, has always been about focusing on and working to understand my patients more deeply. My passion is to bring personalized care to each patient with an emphasis on prevention to help you be healthier. I believe that partnering with my patients in my MDVIP-affiliated practice can help make for a more individualized experience and fosters a more fulfilling physician-patient relationship. I specialize in areas including but not limited to diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, anxiety, depression, weight issues, COPD and asthma. Similar to concierge medicine practices, I also offer conveniences like same- or next-day appointments with minimal wait times.
Although my practice is in Gilbert, Arizona, I have had the honor and privilege of tending to patients from as close by as Queen Creek, Mesa and Chandler to as far as Eloy, Casa Grande and Sun City. I also cover the surrounding areas of San Tan, Gold Canyon and Florence.
When I’m not in the office, I enjoy cooking, traveling, singing, dancing and watching movies.

From our first conversation on the phone to make an appointment I had a good feeling. The first face to face gave me a better feeling about the care we would get. Came back for the initial assessment to find the absolute thoroughness was beyond what was expected. The personal care, the attention to detail, the follow up questions were above what we have had in the past.
Add to this her personal emotional connection to the discussion at hand. I really felt as though she cared about our personal plight and she did and she does.
Each time we meet her for current or new situations she has an awesome flare for life that shows. Her personal care that’s designed for you and only you. Never have I been to a Dr that paid so much attention to me, to my medications and went beyond with the questions. She doesn’t accept canned answers, she goes deeper to get the real answers. My RX were not what I needed for years, she changed medications to meet my needs, followed up, brought us back in for follow-ups, was clear in what we were progressing with.
I can’t say enough good about who she is and what she does for patient care.
Imagine all this and then a support team that really pays attention also. Be prepared to be blown away. I was not. I’m forever grateful for all she has done in the past year.

And they have time to focus on prevention. That focus begins with the MDVIP Wellness Program, which patients pay for with their annual membership fee.
Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.
MDVIP makes wellness and prevention easier by providing your physician with innovative tools and technology. MDVIP supports your physician’s practice and seeks to eliminate barriers to a positive healthcare experience. Your doctor will determine whether and how to incorporate these tools at his/her discretion.
