My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

The doctor-patient relationship is truly a partnership. I am passionate about my role as a teacher, educator and coach as well as doctor. I believe that by providing you with better understanding about your current health status and the treatments and preventive measures available, you will be able to make well-informed health decisions. We will work together to create a plan to assist you in achieving your health goals. We will strive to help your “health span” equal your lifespan.

My MDVIP-affiliated practice offers longer, face-to-face office visits which allow me to form deeper relationships with patients, develop personalized wellness plans, screen for illness, and help treat existing medical conditions. We provide advanced screenings, diagnostic tests and education as part of an annual comprehensive wellness program that goes beyond services offered in traditional practices. My patients also experience conveniences like same- or next-day appointments, professional and attentive staff and the ability to contact me directly after hours.

I am a BaleDoneen-trained provider. The BaleDoneen method helps prevent or possibly reverse cardiovascular disease as well as other chronic conditions, such as type 2 diabetes, dementia, and kidney disease.

With over 25 years of practice as a board‐certified internal medicine physician in Connecticut, I know that attentive listening, as well as the development of a comfortable and trusting relationship with my patients are just as important as helping to prevent, diagnose and treat medical issues.

First, I was having bladder control issues that, after standard protocol procedures, Dr, Kleinhen scheduled me for an ultra sound which showed some bladder and kidney issues. Dr. Kleinhen immediately referred me to Dr. Bieniek at the… See more
