I have never been more impressed with a physician in my life! Dr. Cox and nurse Bianca deserve a 10 star rating. He is extremely thorough with your physical exam and goes over every detail of your lab work. They both have a lovely “bedside manner“ and you never feel rushed because he has five other rooms of patients waiting to be seen. He encourages questions and actually listens to you! Have you ever been given your physicians cell phone number… I don’t think so. They are very easy to get in touch with and get you in to the office ASAP if necessary. I feel very blessed to be in his care!

Dr. Chanez is great! Very sympathetic, knowledgeable and skilled. I am lucky to count on him for care.

Dr. James Chanez is my favorite doctor ever! He is a caring and compassionate doctor, and he is calm, friendly, and LISTENS very well. I've had doctors in the past who did not focus and did not listen well, and I don't know how they can treat their patients without listening to their symptoms. He is personable and he smiles, and I couldn't have a doctor who does not smile! I feel very at ease with him and I am confident that I am getting the best possible medical care. He is very smart, knowledgable and experienced and I believe that he is an excellent physician.

I chose Dr. Chanez when my primary care doctor retired after being my doctor for 30 years or so. I have been with Dr. Chanez for 5 years now and could not be more pleased. He and his staff are the best I have encountered, including my specialists.

Dr. Chanez is that rare Unicorn doctor that is “perfect”. He is wonderful to work with, willing to share his knowledge of relevant medicine and keep it ‘understandable’. His empathetic manner leaves you feeling “loved and cared about” after each visit. He is always available right away and the practice’s communication sources are very reliable.
On top of the excellent doctor that he is, his staff is also exceptional. If you need a refill, an appointment, or just have a question, they are right there to help you.
I have had so many people say, “Oh, I can’t afford a Concierge physician like Dr. Chanez.” Here is my response…
“If you are comfortable trying to explain days, weeks, or months of concerning symptoms, inside the 5-7 minute window that doctors are forced to comply with, and if you are perfectly fine with not ever receiving an understandable explanation for your illness (or test results), then you’re going to be fine. You’re obviously a risk-taker and are okay with the ‘gamble’. I’m just not like that.
I have been issued toe-tags by doctors who took the ‘most likely’ diagnosis, ran limited tests to “not disprove” his/their findings, and medicated what turned out to be serious mis-diagnosis. That did not happen just once, but rather, three separate times - 3 different doctors. The treatment on one of them caused me to lose 85 pounds and experience ugly side effects.
For me, having a doctor that truly cares about ‘me’, not only from a “patient” point of view, but also as a “person who’s life is worth trying to maintain and improve” is utterly priceless.
With Doc Chanez, the fee of Concierge is totally justified. You receive far more than you pay for.

Dr. Chanez has been my husband, my mom, and my primary doctor for years. He is almost family, we think so highly of him! He has done an excellent job handling the medical needs of a somewhat medically needy family. He takes time, he asks questions, he makes you feel like a person as a patient and not just a billing statement. I highly recommend him!

Dr Chanez takes the time listen to you on each visit and responds to your concerns. He is responsive to calls between visits and when health issues arise.

Dr. Chanez has been my doctor for at least 8 years. He is the absolute best and most caring doctor I’ve ever met. I’ve never had to wait to get in touch with him. He has even helped me with a medical issue when he was on vacation. I will never go anywhere else, period.

Was so sad to learn he is no longer accepting new patients. I hope if there is a waiting list that they will list me on it. Hands down, the best doctor I have ever had!

Dr. Chanez is both very knowledgeable and has a good bedside manner. He is very patient with his patients and answers all questions you have. He doesn't seem rushed to leave the room at all; unlike most doctors who are ready to run out the door the minute they are done with the visit.

Dr Chanez and his staff are so helpful. Pam and Kelly know us and always greet us in a positive tone when we call. They see to prescription change and refill requests in a timely manner. Dr Chanez refers us to excellent specialists when needed. He is serious about his advice but speaks to us with humor and sensitivity based on our moods and states of mind. He know our complicated medical histories and conditions and therefore gives good advice. We love him and Pam and Kelly and can rely on the whole staff in the office.
