Dr. Kwak is a wonderful, caring doctor. My mother has been a patient of his since last summer (after her previous physician retired), and I can't say enough good things about him. Dr. Kwak treats my mother with genuine warmth and dignity during all of her visits, along with a sense of humor that puts her at ease. His visits are always very thorough and never rushed. His office staff is very friendly, extremely professional, and very prompt at returning calls and following through with questions we may have for the doctor. I feel very fortunate to have found such a great doctor for my mother.

Dr. Kwak is an excellent physician but more importantly a kind and caring individual who is wholly invested in his craft. His attention to detail, natural intuition, extensive medical knowledge, comforting bedside manner, and dedication to the care of his patients is evident in every interaction from office visits to follow-up communications. One couldn't ask for more in a family practitioner.

Myself, my husband & all three of our daughters have been going to Dr.Kwak for years, and cannot say enough wonderful things about him and his staff! The office staff is friendly, super efficient and make your experience very easy! The office itself is clean and we never have to wait an excessive amount of time to be seen!! Once you get into your appointment, you’re met with a knowledgeable, kind, and most of all patient doctor who takes his time to address all of your issues! Dr. James Kwak is a phenomenal doctor and an awesome human being-we need more doctors like him in the business!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Kwak for about six+ months and am already very impressed with his aptitude as a physician and the kindness and caring demeanor of his staff. The first time I visited the office the staff made me feel very comfortable and welcomed. The medical care I have received from Dr. Kwak has been exceptional. He listens attentively to my concerns, provides a personalized plan of care and thoroughly outlines treatment: I.E. – Rx needed, next steps and follow up. He really makes me feel like a partner in my care.
Right before the Christmas holiday I contacted Dr. Kwak on his cell several times after hours regarding a respiratory issue that was progressing. Each time he responded quickly and never made me feel that I was bothering him or that it was an imposition. Twice I’ve been able to schedule a same day appointment when I needed to be seen. I am very happy to be in the care of Dr. Kwak and highly recommend him and his practice.

In addition to being an excellent physician with lots of experience, Dr. Kwak is a compassionate person who is concerned about the entire patient's well bquickly.
Kwaj's bedside manners are A++. His office staff are very attentive to one's needs, takes comprehensive notes about the patient's phone call & responds back very quickky.

My mom started seeing Dr. Kwak about 5 years ago. He seemed like a good doctor first few years and we were very pleased with him. But things changed during covid. First he was pressuring my mom to take covid shots even though vaccinated catch covid and die from it. He was also trying to get me to get covid shots even though I am not even his patient. Then one day he asked if my mom gets flu shots and when I told him that she get flu shots from Shop Rite he said from now on he wanted to give her flu shots and he wanted my mom to come see in him in October. I had a suspicion that he was going to give her covid shot so I canceled October appointment and rescheduled for later month. Then early this year she got a letter from Dr. Kwak saying that he was switching over to MD VIP and he will be charging 2K a year to stay with him. My mom is on fixed income with Social Security and that's something that she can't afford. Her last appointment with Dr. Kwak was in June after that he was not going to take her unless she joined MD VIP. I had to find a new doctor with good rating near by and the earliest she can be seen by her new doctor is in December. My mom was able to get her refills for her medication in July but when August came Dr. Kwak refused to refill her medication. I talked to her pharmacist and explained the situation but there was nothing they can do and told me to call Dr. Kwak and explain the situation. When I called his office a receptionist told me to call urgent care and they will give her refills. When I called urgent care they told me that they don't give refills. I called her new doctor's office and explained the situation a receptionist told me that there was nothing she can do because all the appointments were filled. She asked for my number and told me that she would call me if she can find an open spot. About an hour later I got a call from her telling me that one of the patient canceled an appointment next day and she could be seen next day. I was able to take her in and got her medications refilled from her new doctor. Dr. Kwak was going to let my mom go 3 months without her medication all because my mom could not afford to join MD VIP. I understand that he did not break any laws but he is a lousy doctor and a lousy person for letting my mom go with her medication for 3 months. What a greedy doctor is he when he could have given my mom 3 months of her medication until she saw her new doctor.
This turned out to be a blessings in disguise because her new doctor at Virtua in Moorestown is a lot better. She told my mom that one of her medication is best taken in the morning and another is best taken at night. Also she told my mom about a an adult day care center where they have Korean community and it's free for people with Medicare. My mom goes twice a week and she loves it.
