Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.

Dr. Massar is very knowledgeable and up to date with current medical research, healthcare and medicine options, and potential outcomes. She is friendly and approachable, and returns patient calls quickly. When needed she calls in prescriptions in a timely manner. Her nurse is a friendly, efficient member of the medical team, and helps patients feel comfortable, while also scheduling appointments to fit patient needs.
The office itself is easy to find, easy to get to, and has plenty of free parking right outside the entry door. Inside is a small but pleasant sitting area for those rare instances when waiting is required. The office does not inundate patients with annoying TV or videos in the wait area.

Dr. Massar has been my physician for over 10 years. She is always pleasant and available when needed. While experiencing a small stroke she maintained conversation with me, my husband and the team of doctors at the hospital. At a follow up visit to her office she asked if my husband was waiting to pick me up and I said yes. She asked to be introduced to him because she remembered speaking on the phone with him while I was hospitalized. No one has ever done that! She appears to have all the time needed to adequately discuss my health or my issues.
