About Jennifer Battiste, MD
As a family practice physician, I love caring for multiple generations, from great-grandparents to the newest baby and those in between. The best part of my workday is sitting with a patient and spending time learning about that person. My goal is to provide more personal and proactive healthcare to my patients and take more time to focus on lifestyle modifications, prevention and wellness. Some of my professional interests are helping patients work toward a healthier weight, women’s health and chronic diseases, especially diabetes and hypertension. As a MDVIP-affiliated doctor, I can partner with you and help build an action plan as you pursue optimal health.
I have been practicing in Caledonia, Michigan, for more than 20 years and have affiliations with Corewell Health and Trinity Health.
My MDVIP-affiliated practice offers services, including comprehensive, advanced health screening and diagnostic tests, that go far beyond those found in concierge medicine practices. I welcome you and your family to join our medical family.
Outside of the office, I love spending time with my family: my husband, our two sons and two dogs. Golfing, walking, line dancing and reading also fill up my free time.

Reviews from the web
I saw some reviews of others complaining about the new member fees now that she is a part of MDVIP. I also was not super thrilled about the member fees, so I tried to find another primary care. I had the worst experience EVER with another doctor. They were so unprofessional, judgemental and, made me feel uncomfortable. Their is not much out their for doctors who can provide what her and her team can. My eyes were opened to how good of a doctor I had, and I wasnt going to find that anywhere else. I immediately re- enrolled into the MDVIP program so I could go back to seeing Dr. Battiste. I will gladly pay the member fee to continue seeing someone that truly cares about their patients and their wellbeing. You're not just a number at this office, everyone is very personable and takes the time to get to know you.
Since I've been back her care has continued to be top notch, even with the MDVIP change. Except now she has even more time to spend with patients than before, I also can get in to see her promptly if needed. Shes still the same great Doctor she has always been!
I just wanted to say that the MDVIP fees are well worth it to see her and the added benefits the program has. The only changes Ive seen since she made the transition are good ones. Their are more than a few awsome things the program provides members with, but I can also see how much more beneficial Dr. Battiste can be with the new tools and the extra time she can spend with her patients. I could not ask for more and am super grateful.
Dr. Battiste is incredibly personable and takes the time to really listen. She is thorough in her approach, never rushed, and always makes sure all of my questions and concerns are addressed. I genuinely feel heard and cared for at every visit. There are even times I leave appointments feeling like I’ve had a bit of therapy as well, which speaks volumes about her compassion and ability to connect on a personal level.
Her staff is just as wonderful...friendly, responsive, and always willing to help. Whether it’s scheduling, follow-ups, or quick questions, they make everything easy and stress-free.
It’s such a comfort knowing I have a doctor who is not only highly competent, but also truly invested in my overall well-being. I highly recommend Dr. Battiste and her team to anyone looking for a more personalized, attentive healthcare experience.
She has consistent staff, who are wonderful.
Thanks again
Frequently Asked Questions
Doctors who operate in the MDVIP models typically see far fewer patients than traditional primary care doctors. That gives them more time to develop deeper doctor-patient relationships that can lead to better outcomes. They can also offer conveniences that most primary care doctors can’t, including same- and next-day appointments. They’re available after hours for urgent matters. And they have time to focus on prevention. That focus begins with the MDVIP Wellness Program, which patients pay for with their annual membership fee.
Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.
MDVIP makes wellness and prevention easier by providing your physician with innovative tools and technology. MDVIP supports your physician’s practice and seeks to eliminate barriers to a positive healthcare experience. Your doctor will determine whether and how to incorporate these tools at his/her discretion.
