He explained the symptoms may be flu, but to keep him aware of it. By 11:30, the pain was intense.. He said to meet him in the hospital emergency room...when I… See more

Testimonials from patients of Dr. Barnes
Dr Barnes sent me immediately to the hospital for emergency surgery to remove my gallbladder when I appeared at his office one Monday morning several years ago. I had been to a stand alone doctor’s office over the weekend, given a prescription and was told I might want to see my doctor the following week. It turns out the gallbladder was gangrenous and Dr BARNES knew exactly what needed to be… See more
John Barnes, he's my man. If he can't help, nobody can!
Dr Barnes is always patient with me the patient! As my A1C crept up due to my poor management of my lifestyle he did not make me feel bad about my poor choices. Also, he did not make me feel like I had to take medicine but encouraged me when I wanted to change my lifestyle and see what would happen. He gave me information I could use to help me manage and change. My A1C is now within normal… See more
Dr, Barnes is the most caring, understanding doctor with a great bedside manner. My appointments with him are never rushed so he will take all the time to listen to what I have to say. I leave my appointments knowing I have received the best advice from him.
I'm not exactly sure when I began my journey with Dr. Barnes. Immediately he managed to develop a concept I was more than just another patient. His expertise, his willingness to listen to me, and diagnose issues we needed to address. I felt there's no way I'm going to disappoint him. I have total confidence in him , he's helped me over the phone, I cherish the comfort… See more

We are grateful that Dr. Barnes has been on this difficult journey with us, and has coached us, translated, and encouraged the best medical decisions we have needed to make. It is wonderful to have his experience, and knowledge to guide some of the challenges we have had. We are thankful.
I had been going to Dr Barnes for over 20 years in 2012 when he diagnosed the pain in my back/hips as being caused by cartilage degeneration. He referred me to an orthopedist who replaced my left hip with a technique that was relatively new at the time. No more hip pain…hooray!!
