I want to thank Dr. Julie Perrigin for having me take an at home sleep test. I was not sleeping well, waking up several times a night and experiencing fatigue during the day. The result of the test showed that I had mild sleep apnea. Now I am peacefully sleeping seven to eight hours a night with the aid of my CPAP machine, unless a set an alarm. I turn over no more than three times a night now. Before I started using the CPAP, I turned over numerous time during the night due to waking myself up trying to get my breath. Several years ago, I was diagnosed with restless leg syndrome. I am sleeping so soundly now that I barely move my legs during the night. I feel so rested when I wake up due to Dr. Julie good care!

Meet Julie Perrigin, MD

My passion in family medicine is to always treat my patients as “family”, the way I would want my own family taken care of. I make it a point to give every patient the individual attention and time to further help their healthcare needs for both illness and prevention. I intend to augment that care even more with becoming an MDVIP affiliate, to be able to further those relationships and go even deeper into the prevention of illness, before it happens. With innovations in medical testing for early prevention of heart disease and diabetes, MDVIP provides more time to deliver preventive medicine. Those resources coupled with my desire to be a partner with my patient, not a dictator, will help us both develop a healthier and happier YOU!

My commitment to Dickson County and the surrounding counties as the only female family practice physician for 18 years has been, and will continue to be, giving a personalized approach to all of your medical needs, with an emphasis on preventive medicine, better health outcomes and overall wellness. My MDVIP-affiliated practice offers services, including comprehensive, advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests, that go far beyond those found in concierge medicine practices. I have a love for treating chronic and acute illness, with special attention to female patients of all ages. My practice resides at Church Street Medical, the renovated Shelton's Pharmacy in the downtown area of Dickson, Tennessee.

Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.

Dr. Julie Perrigen is a wonderful doctor. She cares about her patients as does the entire office staff. When explaining test results, she is very thorough and takes the time to explain each and every detail. She suggests different options for treatments. If I need a specialist she will locate one for me and will keep in contact with that doctor on my diagnosis and treatment.
Wait time in waiting room is minimal. I never have to wait in the exam room more than 10 minutes before the doctor comes in. I sent her an email message on a weekend about a concern I had. I actually didn’t expect a reply until the following Monday. However, Dr. Perrigen called me back the same day and put me at ease. She is the best doctor I have ever been to. I would recommend her to anyone.

Absolutely the best MD office I have ever experienced. From Elly, Cindy, Loretta, Brandi, and Dr. Perrigin. I was a patient for about a year when my husband became very ill. Dr. Perrigin saw him the very same day and had the tests and scans ordered and set up within no time which much more than his primary care physician of 10 years did. Unfortunately my husband was diagnosed with stage IV metastatic urothelial carcinoma of the bladder, Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia, and stage I prostate cancer. My husband fought these for 22 months to the day. I lost him March 10th, 2023. Dr. Perrigin and her office were so absolutely awesome to me and my husband. My husband was never sick a day before he was diagnosed with 3 primary types of cancer. They made Doug feel comfortable and loved for the last 22 months of his life. They will never know what this meant and means to me. I love each one of them. They have continued to take excellent care of me and made sure I am doing okay.

I have seen Dr. Perrigin as my PCP almost 20 years and would HIGHLY recommend her. She is super smart, and combines that knowledge with a level of caring that is rarely seen in medical professionals today.

Dr. Perrigin is an investigative physician. If something is going on with your health, she doesn't hesitate to order necessary testing and/or referrals to specialists when necessary.

Her office is conveniently located, and her staff is just as competent and caring as she is. I am not a fan of doctor's visits, but Perrigin Medical has been my best doctor experience in 60 years.
