Dr. Kent Matsuda, thank you. In October I found myself in an isolation room at Providence Hospital here in Santa Rosa, CA. What brought me there was an unsuccessful Spinal Cord Stimulator procedure. The doctor who did the procedure "forgot" to give me any antibiotics to take home with me. Major vertebral Infection set in within two days. After much testing, the hospital diagnosed me as having Sepsis. I had very serious infection set in my vertebral discs and in my psoas muscle. Seeing as how I had just signed up with MDVIP two weeks earlier and had yet to have my first in person visit with Dr. Matsuda, it was Amazing to me and my wife that he showed up in my Hospital Isolation room Every Day that I was in there...and included me in his Morning Hospital Rounds!!! We meet Dr Matsuda in 2021 my Dad moved in with me and due to his past medical conditions I needed for my Dad to see a doctor right away. I was referred from a friend. I called Dr Matsuda office and was able to get an appointment right away. We were so impressed with his thorough examination as well as going over all his medication.We became a VIP member since then Dr Matsuda has recommended some specialist that were just as wonderful. Dr Matsuda has monitored my Dads condition and has removed some and added some other prescription that has dialed my Dads conditions in the best he has ever been. When there's an issue Dr Matsuda calls us back no matter what time. He has been a godsend for us and I have recommended him several times. Currently I am getting ready to place my Dad in a assisted living facility, as I have been touring 15 different facilities they all ask whom my Dad doctor is, I say Dr Matsuda and they all have said Great he's a wonderful Doctor. When my wife and I wished to find an Internist for our general medical care, it was an easy choice for both of us. Dr. Matsuda had assume the practice of an Internist who was to retire. When we discovered that this internist chose Dr. Matsuda to be his physician that was all the recommendation we needed! Dr. Matsuda became our physician, I believe, around year 2000. When Dr. Matsuda decided to limit his practice to a concierge practice we decided to go elsewhere. After having done this we realized that we had made an error in this regard. We rejoined Dr. Matsuda's practice perhaps a year ago, and as always we have been extremely pleased and grateful to be under his care again.

I havnt had the pleasure of meeting Dr Matsuda as of yet. I’m so looking forward to it. I have someone very close to me that is a patient of his and has done nothing but sing his praises. I’ve been seeing my Dr for over 30 years. I went into my last appointment and he told me he was retiring in two weeks. It was extremely devastating to me. Plus he said he was unable to refer any of his patients due to shortages of GP. Of course you can understand my frustration and pure panic. I’m hoping and praying that I’m able to see Dr Matsuda. I don’t know what I’ll do if I can’t see a doctor soon. I’ve have chronic back pain that is getting worse by the day. It is debilitating. I’ve been on medication for 30 years as well. Getting MRIs every year or so to track my progress. I had an orthopedic surgeon look at my MRis and X-rays. He diagnosed me with a myriad of back problems. But he also said I was not a good candidate for surgery. I’m scared to death that I can’t get any relief from the debilitating pain I live with every day. I’ve been trying to do everything I possibly can do to try and stop or at least lower the pain. I live with about a 9 on the scale everyday. I’ve heard such amazing things about Dr Matsuda. Please let him know I’ve gone to every one I can to raise the money to pay the annual fee that needs to be paid. I’m sure it will be worth it. I feel that my quality of life is priceless. I just need to see Dr Matsuda sooner than laterz thank you for listening to my plea. I hope you can help me. Thank you , sincerely Shea Cook… I even lost 140 lbs thinking that would help. Sadly it only made it worse. I try easy yoga and light stretching. I’m proactive and I will do whatever the Doctor says to do. Please understand that I’m scared to death that I’m going to be with no doctor , no medication and no care . I’ve never been so emotionally a mess since my Doctor basically cut me loose with nothing to fall back on . I’m a nice person easy to work with and you won’t regret taking me on as a patient. Please.. 🙏
