When my wife and I wished to find an Internist for our general medical care, it was an easy choice for both of us. Dr. Matsuda had assume the practice of an Internist who was to retire. When we discovered that this internist chose Dr. Matsuda to be his physician that was all the recommendation we needed! Dr. Matsuda became our physician, I believe, around year 2000. When Dr. Matsuda decided to limit his practice to a concierge practice we decided to go elsewhere. After having done this we realized that we had made an error in this regard. We rejoined Dr. Matsuda's practice perhaps a year ago, and as always we have been extremely pleased and grateful to be under his care again.

I havnt had the pleasure of meeting Dr Matsuda as of yet. Iām so looking forward to it. I have someone very close to me that is a patient of his and has done nothing but sing his praises. Iāve been seeing my Dr for over 30 years. I went into my last appointment and he told me he was retiring in two weeks. It was extremely devastating to me. Plus he said he was unable to refer any of his patients due to shortages of GP. Of course you can understand my frustration and pure panic. Iām hoping and praying that Iām able to see Dr Matsuda. I donāt know what Iāll do if I canāt see a doctor soon. Iāve have chronic back pain that is getting worse by the day. It is debilitating. Iāve been on medication for 30 years as well. Getting MRIs every year or so to track my progress. I had an orthopedic surgeon look at my MRis and X-rays. He diagnosed me with a myriad of back problems. But he also said I was not a good candidate for surgery. Iām scared to death that I canāt get any relief from the debilitating pain I live with every day. Iāve been trying to do everything I possibly can do to try and stop or at least lower the pain. I live with about a 9 on the scale everyday. Iāve heard such amazing things about Dr Matsuda. Please let him know Iāve gone to every one I can to raise the money to pay the annual fee that needs to be paid. Iām sure it will be worth it. I feel that my quality of life is priceless. I just need to see Dr Matsuda sooner than laterz thank you for listening to my plea. I hope you can help me. Thank you , sincerely Shea Cookā¦ I even lost 140 lbs thinking that would help. Sadly it only made it worse. I try easy yoga and light stretching. Iām proactive and I will do whatever the Doctor says to do. In October I found myself in an isolation room at Providence Hospital here in Santa Rosa, CA. What brought me there was an unsuccessful Spinal Cord Stimulator procedure. The doctor who did the procedure "forgot" to give me any antibiotics to take home with me. Major vertebral Infection set in within two days. After much testing, the hospital diagnosed me as having Sepsis. I had very serious infection set in my vertebral discs and in my psoas muscle.
Seeing as how I had just signed up with MDVIP two weeks earlier and had yet to have my first in person visit with Dr. Matsuda, it was Amazing to me and my wife that he showed up in my Hospital Isolation room Every Day that I was in there...and included me in his Morning Hospital Rounds!!!
What wonderful professionalism and Caring towards me and my wife in the midst of a very Serious Period in my Life. It meant SO MUCH to us. Thankyou.

Dr Matsuda has monitored my Dads condition and has removed some and added some other prescription that has dialed my Dads conditions in the best he has ever been. When there's an issue Dr Matsuda calls us back no matter what time. He has been a godsend for us and I have recommended him several times. Though we are new patients of Dr. Kent Matsuda, I feel like heās been my dr since I was a kid. His relaxed, professional style and gentle nature make me very comfortable asking and sharing any of my health concerns.
When a Dr takes his time and pulls up a chair next to you to go over test results one by one it makes you feel like heās the captain of YOUR health teamā and heās definitely on your side!!
Along with the confidence I have in him and the ability to call for an appointment and be seen within 24 hrs, it makes my healthcare truly remarkableā¦.something as a nurse I thought had faded away over the years.
I would like to also add how āimpressedā my husband and I were when Dr. Matsuda showed up daily in the hospital for my husband during a serious bout of sepsis. My husband had not even had his first appointment with Dr Matsuda, but there he was!āānot even assigned to his case!
He came in every morning to share and explain exactly what tests and findings were going on with his hospital care. He went above and beyondāand we so appreciated him!
