Dr. Thompson provides excellent care, is responsive, attentive, knowledgeable and kind. He takes all the time you need. I trust him greatly. I changed doctors when he switched to MDVIP and came Back a few years later, and pay quarterly. It’s worth every penny. No more waiting rooms, no more sitting In a room with the door closed wondering when some doctor is going to come to see you. Highly recommend

Dr. Thompson has seen me through several serious health issues. I have Crohns diseas, blood clotting disorders,and a nasty case of covid. He has always been kind and taken his time with me. He will pull out medical books to explain things to me and is always encouraging on my Crohns journey.

Dr Thompson is a great physician. In addition to being an excellent and very accessible doctor for my wife and I, we credit him with saving my mother-in-laws life. She lives up north and had recurring infections which were never resolved and resulted in multiple hospitalizations and discharges without ever finding the root cause. She was visiting when her symptoms resurfaced - he seemed to take a personal interest in trying to help her, and after a series of tests identified the issue. She had surgery here and the problem was resolved. Had she not seen him we are quite sure she would not be with us today.

I am thankful to have Dr Thompson as my doctor. He genuinely cares about my health, is attentive and very responsive. He suggests new treatments, helps manage my current conditions and is very open and honest.I highly recommend him!!

Dr. Thompson and his staff go above and beyond. The wait period is extremely low. I would say the most I have waited is about 5-10 minutes. He is extremely knowledgeable is the medical field and truly cares about his patients. He takes the time to listen and answer all questions in a manner that we the patient can relate to. He is quick to answer text or calls after hours. His staff is so very helpful and compassionate. He provides excellent service! Goes above and beyond.

He has over the years with MDVI and before MDVIP been a friend as well as a doctor. I always feel comfortable talking to about any heath issues as they sometimes can be a little touchy for me.
I have been able to contact him; normally in the office on accusation by phone and even via Text Messaging, with good and speedy responses.
When I have annually visits He provided me a complete hour and quick responses for follow up.
For me MDVIP have been worth it with Dr Thompson. However, I have not needed to contact any MDVIP doctors away form his office. This may necessary as we travel out town and out of the country from time to time.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kevin Thompson since at least 2003. I have been a member of the MDVIP program since he joined it, I believe in 2012.

I have always felt assured and confident that I was getting the best Internal Medicine Care possible. I have used the Dr's cell phone when needed for after-hour texts, calls, consultations or questions, always with timely, quick responses!

When specialist care has been necessary, he has always provided top-notch referrals, with each of which I had very satisfying results.

Dr. Thompson's office staff has always been well qualified, most friendly, highly courteous, very understanding, caring and compassionate.

When I needed to see him on a quick basis, and he may have been out of town, I am always seen quickly by his U of M counterpart in the office, Dr Kaminski, with no problems, myself even being an MSU grad! (Go Green!)

When I suddenly came down with a rare Leukemia at age 70, found at my annual physical blood tests in March, 2016, Kevin referred me to a Providence affiliated Oncologist, Dr. Terebelo. With his 38 years experience, he quickly referred me to Karmanos Cancer Center. I received chemo, radiation, and a stem cell transplant on June 1 from a full match, 23 year old man in Germany. By June 16, 2016, I was home, recovering, and rated 'cancer free' on 7-16! Just 3 months from discovering the cancer in my blood, to being treated and home again, all thanks to my annual MDVIP physical. It would have been 2 months, but the donor had to delay one month after contacted, before he was able to donate his stem cells!

All my office visits are always relaxing, no rush. Dr. is always willing to listen and converse. I always look forward to my Doctor visits!
