Dr. Weikart is a very caring and compassionate doctor. He takes the time to listen to you and your concerns before he makes a diagnosis. If your problem is not taken care of, he keeps on trying. Never giving up on you, no matter how complicated your case is.

I received a bill from this office with dates of service for 10/09/20 for $90. I've never seen this doctor in my life, nor have I been treated by anyone in his office. When I called his office on 11/10, the woman I spoke with was extremely rude and said I'd have to wait 2 weeks for billing clerk to return. I do not want to wait 2 weeks to resolve fraudulent charges. I have checked my insurance and so far, they do not see claim from this office. I will keep watching for that. I am investigating next steps for reporting this practice. My HIPPA rights have been violated as my healthcare information should not have been used or passed around in this office.

Dr. Weikart is a fantastic Dr. with a great bedside manner and an incredible listening ear. I've had an unbelievable last 2-3 years with my Mom and her "interesting" form of dementia before her death. And she lived in another state. He saw me thru all of that and right at the end I was faced with my own personal medical issues which I can't even begin to explain the degree of complications or the length of time or tests.
Dr. Weikart directed my Husband and I to all the right people and places and when we needed extra explanations or comfort - he let us see him for however long we needed. When I needed Surgery, by other Dr's, he also came every day to check on me. He's been there thru it all. I feel I can always count on him. That's a great feeling about your Doctor!!!

Dr Kevin Weikart (Dr W) has been my doctor for over 30 years. When Dr W indicated that he was transferring his practice to MDVIP, it was a very easy decision to sign up and continue with him. Approximately five years ago over the Thanksgiving holiday, Dr W, the excellent diagnostician he is, recognized a very significant complication after a routine shoulder surgery. Due to Dr W ‘s immediate care, all of the necessary steps to deal with the complications were quickly taken which resulted in Dr W ( along with the amazing hospital health professionals @ BJC St Jospeh West hospital) saving my life. Every day during my hospital stay i could count on seeing Dr W since he stopped by my hospital room to check on my physical and mental wellbeing. Dr W has always been there to more than meet my needs.. whether its making sure I revive the correct treatment/care after out of town accidents or providing excellent care locally. Thank you for your positive attitude, for making me feel more like a family member than a patient, and for making room for me in your busy schedule. You are an exceptional physician and an even more amazing, kind human.

That gives them more time to develop deeper doctor-patient relationships that can lead to better outcomes. And they have time to focus on prevention. That focus begins with the MDVIP Wellness Program, which patients pay for with their annual membership fee.

Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.

MDVIP makes wellness and prevention easier by providing your physician with innovative tools and technology. MDVIP supports your physician’s practice and seeks to eliminate barriers to a positive healthcare experience. Your doctor will determine whether and how to incorporate these tools at his/her discretion.
