About Kuljeet S. Rai, MD
In my practice, patients are my number one priority. I personally make sure that all of their needs are met. The MDVIP model of care allows me to accomplish this goal with ease. I am a firm believer in the statement; excellent leaders lead by example. I will not ask my patients to set goals that I don't already adhere to. Nutrition and exercise are important to me, and I also make it an important part of my patients' lives.
I speak several languages and am very comfortable with cultural diversity/unity of humanity, and I can explain medical jargon in terms that my patients understand. I enjoy the role of being my patients' healthcare "quarterback", and I don't like to lose.

Dr. Rai is like family. He has genuine concern for our health and well being and makes it known that he is always available for us. We don't like to call him after hours, but when necessary we do and he never makes us feel like we are bothering him. He has even called us on a weekend to check on us. I think the best thing is that my 19 year old daughter feels like she can be honest with him…

I am truly grateful to have Dr. Rai as my physician. He is an exceptional doctor who combines deep medical knowledge with genuine compassion and is always there when I need him. I don’t know of anyone else who so clearly sets apart a standard of care — he is truly one of a kind.

DR Rai is extremely personable, listens and genuinely acts/feels like he is interested in his patients' well being. He is the BEST GP we have ever known. He also serves as the GP for my 98 year old mom. I am extremely grateful for his time, knowledge and expertise. He is always able to provide the name/number for a specialist should it be indicated. We would recommend him without hesitation!

I am a Pa resident,who came to Ca to visit my Son who lives in San Jose, while here I developed a serious back problem. And because I had no primary physician, I had to go to the ER several times, until a friend told me about MDVIP, I was so grateful to join and get great care, my MDVIP Dr got me to the best Drs and I ended up with spine surgery at Stanford!

I previously was a patient of Dr. Dewey Jeffrey Duckham, an MDVip doctor, until he retired. After his retirement I was not happy with the doctor I was seeing. Dr. Rai was recommended to me by my audiologist because his approach to medicine and patient care was close to what Dr. Duckham provided. I have been extremely happy with my care and partnership with Dr. Rai. I always leave his office feeling he is personally interested in keeping me healthy and having a good quality of life.

Dr. Kuljeet Rai is an extraordinary physician who is extremely knowledgeable on many medical topics. His office is comfortable and welcoming with a great nurse. He has a wonderful bedside manner and takes time at each appointment and explains in detail any questions we have with our health. He is dependable and we can easily get a hold of him when needed. My entire family loves and respects Dr. Rai. He is simply the best!

All doctors care for their patients… but when you have a doctor who shows care in you like a member of his own family, that’s when you know you, your health and your well-being… is in great hands. Dr. Rai was my physician when I was a teenager and somehow I lost touch when he joined MDVIP. I thought he had retired from the profession but when I found him in MDVIP, I didn’t lose a minute to join as a member! His care and compassion is second to none. Extremely knowledged in the field, he explains everything with clarity and never rushes an appointment. I never feel like my questions weren’t answered. He is just simply an amazing doctor and I’m blessed to have him as my primary care doctor. When you know a doctor cares for you at that level, it also motivates me to stay in top health, almost to keep him proud. I am truly thankful to Dr. Rai and glad to have him as my MDVIP doctor.

My wife and I were under another concierge doctor's care for over 5 years. Sadly she sold her practice and her replacement we both found to be unacceptable based on our prior experiences with her predecessor. We never thought we would find another doctor who lived up to the standards set by Doctor Grellet. Doctor Rai is a rock star and given my wife has a multitude of issues he has calmed her issues and she feels she is in great care. I have recommended him to a lot of friends and will continue to do so

I have been with Dr Rai for more than 30 years. He has helped me adjust when my professional mountain bike sons have suffered serious injuries and has directed me towards excellent specialists in order to attend to them. I once had a son injured in South America during a race and I called Dr Rai at home on Sunday and he intervened and made certain calls for us to get my son back home and in hospital. I couldn't consider another physician under any circumstances.

My doctor is the captain of my team of doctors! I feel like I hit the jackpot! When we discuss my terminal health condition, he is hopeful, spiritual, knowledgeable, available at all hours and coordinates/oversees for me all the other doctors that I see. Happy happy!

Dr. Rai is great! I've been with him for over 10 years! He is very through and really listens to your needs. He doesn't brush off your concerns and sends you for additional tests or a specialist if needed. I really love that about him. He really takes the time to get to know you and is always asking me about my family. He's a great personal doctor!

Dr. Rai has truly been a gift to me in the area of health care. He is extremely knowledgeable, makes the time to make sure I understand test results and proscribed care and he takes an interest in me and my family. Going to the doctor used to be a dreadful experience and I rarely felt confident in the medical advice I was receiving. Dr. Rai has completely changed that perspective. I trust him and have the utmost confidence in him. And Gaby has been a fabulous staff member over the years as well. I could not give someone a higher personal or professional recommendation!

Somehow, my rating came out as a four star when I definitely, wanted it to be a five star. Dr. Rai has been a great gift to me and my husband. He has always been there when we needed him with excellent advice and counsel. We are so grateful and thankful to have him as our doctor. His assistant, Gaby, is always responsive with warmth and concern.

Dr. Rai is compassionate and calming and his diagnoses and prognoses have always been spot on. Since he is an MDVIP physician, you can actually have a conversation with him where your questions are answered clearly. Plus, he is amenable to tangents, so it is an enjoyable interaction, even when he says that your tennis elbow will take 6-12 months to heal. It took 7. I have come to trust him completely.

It is wonderful to have Kuljeet Rai as our primary doctor. He is always available on his phone if we have a question. He is very calm especially when we have had an emergency. He takes his time but most of all he really cares about his patients. We are so lucky to have him as our doctor and friend
