My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...
I believe a close partnership between a doctor and patient is one of the most critical building blocks to achieving medical care. My goal as your personal physician is to collaborate with you to create a personalized healthcare plan for treating your current health issues, as well as helping you achieve your health goals through prevention and wellness. I also believe that emphasis on prevention and healthy living enables a more comprehensive healthcare strategy than one based on prescription drugs and procedures only. As your personal doctor, we can work closely to formulate a unique path for your healthcare needs and help you meet your specific targets for healthy living and wellness.
I am board-certified in internal medicine and geriatrics with extensive training in dementia and treatment of other chronic medical conditions in adults and the elderly. As one of the few MDVIP-affiliated female physicians in the greater Denver area, I emphasize getting to know each patient beyond their specific medical conditions and tailor the treatment to your unique situation. My MDVIP-affiliated practice offers services, including comprehensive, advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests, that go far beyond those found in concierge medicine practices.
It is important to note that as adults age, physiology and pharmacokinetics change, necessitating a unique care plan. In addition to internal medicine and geriatrics, I have a vast education in exercise and nutrition that will help you achieve specific wellness goals. I am proud to serve my patients with compassion, personal attention and professionalism in providing medical care.
